Happy spouse…Happy house I used to say happy wife, happy life but being married 12 years I realized that it’s not all about one spouses happiness. We can neglect the other spouses happiness if we are not careful. Marriage is hard work but when we do it Gods way it’s such a huge blessing. We are not responsible for someone’s true happiness but we definitely play a huge part as husbands & wives. When God is truly in the middle of your marriage and BOTH spouses feel seen, heard and soothed that’s when true joy from our Father comes in because we are serving each other and not just ourselves!

A man of God will know in his heart when he has finally met the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with growing old with in the Lord. The Holy Spirit will give him that testermony in his heart that this is the one who his heavenly father has chosen for him. The one whom he will build a house and a strong family with.

My wife is 7 years older than I. And when I was late 20s. She mid late 30s. This didn't seem like much. But oh does it change once she gets over 50. Well needless to say. Almost my whole 40s were affectionless. And not just physical affection. I learned a lot about myself. I learned that men too STARVE for relationship. I was about a year or less ago. Praying talking to God. About how lonely I am and have been. And the HOLY SPIRIT CAME UPON ME. And still weep to this day. As Jesus told me know you know how I feel from my bride. And I started in the middle of the night seeing how I have not gave God the intimacy. Guilt and shame took me over. This truly made a big change in me.

Amen. This is a video all married couples should hear. The one thing I have learned in my marriage is to not assume your spouse is boring or dull. Give eachother a chance to share your intrests with eachother because thought the years your interests change. I always think about the song " If you like pina coladas" when I think about a dull or boring marriage. If your marriage is focused on Jesus you should be able to share your needs with eachother give your spouse a chance and communicate with them. Do not let fear keep you from sharing with them. I knew that I met my wife when the things she asked me to do got me closer to God at the beginning it was tough but I started praying more and quit smoking and drinking alcohol everyday and we have a beautiful family now .

My Fiancé is a Godly woman. I too have a belief in God. We are having problems because I allowed the Devil to sneak in just about destroyed what God had put together. Was apart for almost a month. Nothing I was doing worked… I sat down and rekindled my faith with God and she started communicating. Don’t you tell me God doesn’t know my heart. Requested she allow me to work on my flaws and although I want to be back in her arms, I gave it to God. If He sees fit for she and I to reunite, then it will be. I’m putting my faith in God!!!
