This was such a beautiful video Obayd, definitely your best one so far. You spoke so sincerely and eloquently about the joys of your childhood and the fear and excitement of early adult life. The part where you talked about growing up and becoming the nineteen-year-old that you looked up to as a child made me tear up. It also broke my heart to see Eesa crying when you said goodbye. I moved abroad about a year ago and it was extremely difficult at the beginning. I was crying everyday because I was so homesick and I missed my family so much. But it gets better, trust me. You will meet new friends and live new and enriching experiences. And, as you said, your family and friends from Jeddah are not going anywhere and you will always be able to visit them during Christmas break. I understand what you mean; I've experienced a similar journey. I was born in India, spent a good amount of time in Saudi Arabia, and eventually moved to the UK. I often find myself reminiscing about the night trips to Mecca and Medina, the vibrant shopping malls, the festivities of Saudi National Day, the enriching Janadriyah Cultural Festival, the scenic Jeddah corniches, and the serene Dammam beaches....and ofcourse Arabian Oud perfimes!
