Each one of these cast recaps have given me chills the past 4 weeks. Thank you so much Carlos for bringing this show into our lives. As a child of Christ that was raised in the church, but am still flawed, I am so happy to finally see a reality show that depicts people like me who have a relationship with Christ and are not ashamed to say it or show it on a worldwide platform. I love it. 😇❤️🙏🏾

This has been the interview I have been waiting for! I love Nikki on the show she’s hilarious😂. I wasn’t sure what Grown and Gospel was going to be about but I’m so glad I watched. The cast honesty has been refreshing. They’re all great❤! Hope y’all get a season 2!!!

I've followed Dorinda Clark Cole for over 20 years, I've met her several times and she knows me personally. Now I literally understand her pain when she wrote her hit song, Bless My House. Dorinda literally was saying - "Lord, go to my house and fix it." It just goes to show that no matter how much money and fame you have no one is immune to life's problems. I can tell that Nikkia and Dorinda's relationship is still in the healing process. Carlos thank you for creating this show and shedding light on the lives of Gospel singer's kids. And Nikkia thanks for being transparent.

Right! Sunday School church, district meeting, Wed night and Friday night service. Revival, convocation, workshops... Saturday choir rehearsal.... Wheeeewwwww chile! 😅😂 being a preacher kid is hard.

Don't forget about all of this "appreciation" services! And those 3 hour funerals.....and not only did you have to sing and then go help in the kitchen and clean up. Whew!

If there is a season two keep Nikkia on. I only tuned in for her, to get to know more of her and the hopes of seeing Dorinda and Greg. Not going to lie, Nikkia did come off like a follower of Tasha so hopefully she branches out more on the next season and the prayers of the righteous works because we know Dorinda has been praying and fasting for her daughter for years based on the small things she chooses to share. I love Grown & Gospel. My dad is a pastor. Carlos, there needs to be a Grown & Gospel Atlanta starring the Scott SIsters, LaTisha, and LaTocha, including Pastor Scott and the self proclaimed 5th member of XScape, Ms. Gloria. 🎙 There is a real story there. No side payouts to Rocky 😅 Whew, Chile 😄

23:31 The "scandal"? Well, if we keep it all the way real, truthfully Sarah shouldn't have never had anything to be ashamed of or embarrassed over. Sarah was 13 years old, if anything the Mother and the Father is actually who ppl should've been 👀👀 at, not the child. Although, I do believe her Son was a gift, and a message from God. It was also glaring reminder that when their was some parenting failures. Sarah never should've been made to feel ashamed.

According to court documents, he beat his side chick, held a gun to her head, & forced her to drive around to several ATMs & withdraw money for him. That's why people were asking about his bank account.

I'm glad that you didn't condemn her because some of us grew up alone and rugged and we did whatever we had to for the survival of not only ourselves and others. The Lord in his infinite wisdom sent me a "Nikki Cole"...... Hallelujah! I'm sitting here crying because Nikki will never know how much she is impacting people...a Nikki Cole changed my life for the better.

Sound likes she owes her parents an apology, for the life she was given and the sacrifices her mother had to do , however Nicki didn’t fully understand then. But, she knows now. She is forgiven. Those tears are real.

God is like a parent. He can love and bless us without always agreeing with our lifestyle choices. We can't believe we can behave anyway and still believe it is okay with God. I believe God blesses all of us, but there are some things I personally am not willing to do for a $. And, no one shuns gay people from church. If the pastor speaks against any sin- fornication, etc. most of us will either stay and ask God to help us change or leave because we are uncomfortable with the messaging. We can't be mad when pastors speak against homosexuality. That is no dig. The Bible specifically states what should be between a man and woman. We can't pick and choose what we believe in the Bible based on what we want it to support. God gives us free will, and with free will, there are consequences- good and bad. God is not pleased with a lot of things we do. David was annointed and look at everything that happened to him. And, are we basing blessings solely on materialistic gains?
