Americans are used to the convenience of Walmart 😀 Every large city in Australia has similar size produce markets. However, this one is located near Australia's tropical fruit farms, offering the lowest prices anywhere in the country.

@@RealLifeFruitopia Very true, I have a place a few Hrs away where I can buy from a farmers market. But they don't have a lot of tropicals. Good thing I grow a lot.

Depends which fruit you're after. Summer is best for mango. Winter suits us as we can't get away in summer.

Cairns Queensland. However, it's very hot and humid in summer, only for the brave.

George Rustys its my goto on a Saturday morning early bird captures the worm, i dont know about sunday 1/2 price arvo all the good stuff is snapped up Saturday. I go there with too much gusto and determination i guess its the parking meter i have yet to see a cairns parking inspector on a Saturday one can spend hours comparing prices. Rustys is best although i give a tip the commonwealth atmx is free of transaction fees for cash withdrawals as aposed to the worldatm at the markets that charges a transaction fee, most market stall holders only have cash only.

Good to know, especially for anyone driving and parking. Sunday closing time is best for budget and bulk buyers.

@@RealLifeFruitopia oh i forgot i was made awares on my last visit that theres free car parking for between 2-3 hours for Rusty’s markets attendees just have to locate the parking lot

@@RealLifeFruitopia I'm the same 6 months Canberra rest Trinity beach I must be bonkers glad you have the best of both worlds unfortunately I need to win lotto to move out of Canberra permanently enjoy the amazing weather, I was only raving about Rusty's markets last night Canberra markets are Life less and sterile take care Cheers Mick

@michaeltaylor8204 Melbourne living is 100x better than Canberra. We love everything except the winter cold, which is why we travel to Cairns.
