The barrier to entry to do either of these options is not the same level. The night elf is bad yet can apply that much pressure with almost zero micro. That last fight the NE was so sure he was going to brainlessly walk over the fight he just A-clicked into the base and focus fired whatever.

mariano Munarriz undead has only one strategy. It’s really the details of execution to make difference.

fiends + destro + heroes nuking (DK + Lich). One (boring) strat against any opponent strat. Heroes carry the game, when DK fall, gg is coming. You can face an army 70+ food with 4 units, poor mining, you don't need as many ressources as others races, fiends and destros are so multi tasking. UD so imba :D But what you need first is great skill for micro. UD players usually are great players.

I would "disagree" about there being only 1 strategy. Dreadlord with ghouls is a noob friendly strategy. The idea being you use sleep on a target, surround with all your ghouls then kill it for easy surrounds. Usually involves a fast expand also (sleep the strongest creep and kill the rest then kill the one you slept). Often used as a solo hero as infernal is pretty sick. If you keep losing the DL, try DK second. You will still need to tech and attempt to counter what the opponent is doing. Saying this, mass gargs is often pretty effective versus NE (try and hunt the wisps when you get 6+ gargs), you will want destroyers versus humans or basically casters of any race creep hard to try and get level 5 then harass workers in his expansion to hit lvl 6. Destroyers are an amazing unit. Versus orcs this strats probably hardest to pull off, keep a solid amount of ghouls ideally attack early and focus on destroying burrows, repeat once then fight after getting a lead in food supply if that fails grab a frost wyrm, destroyers will help a lot if he has a lot of grunts or casters or both. ALWAYS get a statue against all races, practice using both of it's heals so you can get away with only using one, but usually just use 2 of them. Highly recommended to get a shade, use it to keep track of where the opponent is, creepjacking is a good strategy. Could even get a second shade to simply patrol all the gold mines. Generally when your dreadlord hits level 3/4 use the shop and get a tome of retraining and replace sleep with his nuke (this is especially good at killing workers), he doesnt have the mana for both sleep and nuke even with statues. usually you avoid using necros and banshees, both are reasonably weak/easily countered. Banshees versus orc for the curse is decent though. Or you can ignore all that and go dk/lich fiends & destroyers against all races. Good luck
