Well, burrows should not have that much of atack damage, they give good shelter and are defensiv structures as well, pretty much stupid. Either they don't give shelter or don't give damage at all.

would also like to hear grubbys view on the current state of the game (also balance) and the scene. While tod is salty i think you need some guys like him and if the games are over, he seems like a nice person. Hes a good caster when he needs to be professional, he seems to really care about the scene. i like what he does with his town hall series. but i think some things happened between those two nobody of us know, so heres hoping someday it still will happen.

Yes, like you know him nearly as well as he knows Grubby. I don't agree with Tod that being polite is being fake. But I can imagine Grubby isn't always the incredibly lovely front he puts up in streams. ToD thinks that Grubby types GL HF bc his fans would not like it if he didn't. ToD thinks that it's beneath oneself for a top player to start play multiple races bc it pleases the audience. I disagree, but those aren't points devoided of merits either. If you see his discussion on his Town Hall or his jokes with his pals when commenting, there's a culture of cheerful roasting and being "funny dicks" I can relate to (I had that in my circles too) and I can get why he may not be overly excited at the "let's all be cheerful and impassioned all the time".

He constantly complains about balancing in the game. Grubby types "gl hf" because it's an unwritten rule in sportsmanship in wc3 circles. I don't think this defines good sportsmanship. In fact, I think it makes no sense to wish someone you want to beat "good luck". However, ToaD's inability to congratulate his opponent for winning ("gg"), and his inability to own his mistakes, prove he's a petulant man-child who should be ridiculed. - "I lost because speed scrolls are too op". - "I lost because grubby plays rat style (or in other words, he's kiting him, suggesting kiting amounts to playing dirty)". - "I lost because grubby is fake". As for his chat, I saw some of them sniping Grubby during their matches. This of course, doesn't reflect on ToaD himself, however, but it's fairly obvious his toxic behavior creates this. He's like the Jose Mourinho of wc3. Please. Stop defending this arrogant little boy who desperately needs to learn a lesson in humility. And no one is asking him to be "cheerful and impassioned all the time". We're asking him to grow up.

I personally dont consider typing GL HF, or GG and the end being so important. It is not 'official rule' to do that. Grubby does that, but plenty of other players dont. The reason why Grubbys followers are mocking ToD is becouse of his childish behaviour (not being objective, narcissism lack of humility. Had he shown a bit of that, nobody would mind not typing fuckin GG or whatever during games. But It is ToDs foult that this kind of 'Rivalry 'situation escalated. It is simply becouse of his inability to accept his loses. and simply say: ok I lost , I made some mistakes , I should learn from them, lets move ahead.

They played so long together and won nearly everything they have alot of respect for each and dont need phrases.

Those are two of the top level players. Historically they've always been a close match, with Grubby doing a bit better than ToD but not always. Keep in mind ToD is the 2nd all time best western player behind Grubby... but before Happy. (which is arguably bc balance was broken against UD for so long).

I believe it’s cause ToD’s spellbreakers could steal Shamans’ bloodlust, so it would have just given an advantage to ToD.

He's hard on himself with mistakes that he thinks he knows better than to make. Anyone who tries their best can have this happen or they take mistakes on grace and reflect on it. You'll naturally have the first happen and in order to turn it into a graceful reflection is a skill that a person has to develop. At least that's what I've noticed as someone who had this issue and resolved it. Always a struggle though at times

People are naturally attracted to positivity and enthusiasm. It's contagious. People also thrive off negativity and that can also be contagious. Meaning negative people will always be surrounded by negativity and vice versa. Peolle are wired to interact with each of these players as they do because of these traits of human behavior.

I've noticed that while Grubby does a good job of killing critters out on the map because of his 'luck' with them blocking his units and gettingthem killed, he OFTEN ignores them in his main/expansion, and I always wonder how many are mechanicals in these games.

now take a look at tc stomp with huge aoe that just dismantles humans casters and rifles. Under scroll of speed and lightning shield it strikes harder than coilnova or bm's crits

@@Martmovie TC stomp is also mitigated by spell immune stuff like spellbreaker, so forming a wall to prevent him getting into the backline is already enough. Then, there's the fact he has to run face first into the right spot, meaning you can always body block and sacrifice just 1 unit. It's a good ability that's BALANCED.

take a look at grubby's games against humans - its pretty rare thing to see a wall of breakers preventing tc to stomp rifles and casters. Breakers dont make such damage to typical orcs tc-fs-shaman-grunt as rifles do, they are slower, way harder to focusdamage and human almost never goes massbreakers against orc as he does against human. Slow by sourceress is better, scroll of speed counters it though

Stomp is broken af the only way to actually block is to have breakers ready and in the exact fuckin line you want which isnt the case most of the times. It needs a cd buff
