Alaska is predictably unpredictable. The only obstacle larger than the rugged mountains is the ever-changing weather. In this film, Austin, Jessica, and Larry attempt to harvest two mountain goats in the rocky peaks of the Kenai Peninsula. Rain, wind, flooding, and cloud cover all add up to make this hunt a unique challenge.

Awesome goat hunt with ups and downs and amazing animal to be proud of in the end. Looks similar to tahr country here at home. One day North American hunting dream will come true......more for the boy than myself. A long way from NZ but still number 1 on the overseas trips to complete. Awesome work Jess, you will have to return to get that elusive chamois one day! Hunter still rocks your cap you left for him, its his go to hunting cap for good luck.

That was really an incredible film, one of the best hunting videos I've seen. Mad props to the editor and cinematographer. The ONLY film I've seen that showcases what it is ACTUALLY like to hunt mountain goats in AK! Wet! Foggy! Windy! Steep! Poor visibility most of the time. Awesome work.

Great Video, shows just how beautiful and challenging it is up there in AK, which at times calls to me to move up there, then I remember I don’t like shoveling snow that much and instead I stay here in the Mountains of Eastern AZ where most of the time the snow melts if you give it a day or two.

Holy wet! What a hunt of a lifetime though. It sure looked like you had a guide with a great sense of humor. I love how the hunt turns into a bear hunt when given the opportunity just like all hunts turn into a coyote hunt down here in the lower 48 as well. Congrats on an amazing hunt and experience! Great filmed hunt, persistent’s pays off with a lot of hard work and some suffering. Crunchy goat hunt chip smacking to air mattress floating on water in the tent. Really inspiring to see what can be done, enjoyed seeing all that KUIU gear working great. You know it was a great hunt when you don’t want to leave the great adventure behind, thanks for sharing.

BIG thumbs up to the camera op. Not an easy hunt to capture on camera by any means. Congrats to the hunters as we fully understand just how tough that hunt can be, especially returns to camp in the dark with a pack of meat and bears hanging out. Well done! 👍
