A unique talent that cross genres in style, Grum aka Graeme Shepherd has enjoyed a trailblazing 18 months that has included an Essential Mix, unanimous support at BBC Radio 1, as well as a string of uplifting club hits like "Sunday Blue Sky" and "Straight To Your Heart".
Having recently supported Above & Beyond in both Europe and USA, Grum's classy melodic sound has felt increasingly match-made for their legendary Anjunabeats label and the alliance begins with the brilliant "Trine EP".
Offering three sides of his diverse sound, the "Trine EP" opens with the deep but euphoric progressive of Above & Beyond favourite "U", which blends Northern Exposure-era Sasha & Digweed-esque textures with a big room bounce and Grum's distinctive nu disco roots. The retro-futurist trance of "Lightspeed" recalls the classic Paul Oakenfold Essential Mixes of the 90s, whilst quirky deep houser "Builder" lives up to its name; already supported by Annie Mac and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1.
