Grumpy the wild Mockingbird sits on my hand!

4 жыл бұрынIn this video Grumpy was sitting on my hand for almost 9 minutes! She is a completely wild Mockingbird, it took several months and a lot of patience for her to get this comfortable around me. Also i will be posting another video next week that shows the process from when i first started feeding her until she eats from my hand. I thought this one clip by itself was really amazing because of how long she was siting on my hand so I wanted to make it into it's own video.

This is such a cute video! We have a lot of birds that come by in coastal Texas but the ones that always hang around are the mockingbirds, we’ve got a family hanging around our house rn! The only problem is every other bird that visits eats from the feeder, but the mockingbird always keeps its distance. I assume it doesn’t like the seed we use, what do you feed them most of the time?

The morking bird is her pet. I believe her whom take care this bird when the bird was a little bird.

Nope your thinking of a different mockingbird named legs. Grumpy was always a wild bird. :)

Yes, it did. They eat fruit and will either regurgitate large seeds or poop them out.
