We are headed to GRUYÈRES in Switzerland! This video is a travel guide and itinerary for this gorgeous Swiss village in the heart of the alps. Gruyères is home of its namesake cheese, so of course we are going to do a cheese and chocolate factory tour! We’ll head to the top of the Moleson, visit the Château Gruyères and OF COURSE eat some of the best fondue in all of Switzerland!

I visited Gruyères from the US in September. Did all the things you talked about and loved it all! That Gruyère cheese is to die for! Next time I would like to stay night there.. that looks magical.

Im coming here next week! Can't wait! We discovered this town through Kara and Nates video, they passed through on a train and that's when we decided we needed to visit! Plus there is fondue so...

The Museum shows the art of H.R. Giger. He was a very famous artist and won an Oscar for the visual design in the horror movie 'Alien'. He is basically responsible for the way we imagine extra terrestrial beings. His influence is still present in every movie, video game, comic, sculpture....

I have a photo of Gruyères from 1979 (before you guys were born!). It looks very much the same. I’ve been back to Switzerland dozens of times but this fall will be my first return trip to Gruyères! 🇨🇭

The museum is really nice and love the castle too! Seems like the climb is a little steep though! Not a fan of cheese but the tour around the cheese factory is great! Thanks for sharing this!! Greetings from Singapore!

HI, I'm slowly going through your wonderful videos and loving them! On one of your outings, did you run across a small hut with an authentic alpine cheesemaker dipping his apron to get the curds? I thought I saw it in a video, but not sure?

I loved the Gruyères tour, but Cherry the Cow on the audio tour was... something. My wife and I thought that cow was quite pretentious, ha. I made sure we got an early enough train to see all the cheesemaking - as well as the cellar robot doing its duty of plucking cheese wheels off at its precise time in the aging process and doing all the menial cellar tasks via automation alone. Thanks for your videos, they informed our honeymoon, and we enjoyed Genève and Zermatt extensively because of it. :)

The trip from Interlaken to Gruyères by train/bus takes about 2:30 hrs
