You read my mind! I've been looking for an up-to-date beat with JP. Thanks for persevering and completing the look. I have all the JP products used, except Masquerade palette, setting powder (which I will not purchase), and gloss. QUESTION - What is your correct JP matte foundation shade? Beautiful soft glam look.

I’d go with Burkina but I’m not a 100% sure as I’m just judging based on this shade. Btw the glosses are everything 💖

You are right it’s the powder because I used the Gobi Setting Powder and it did the same thing. I’m glad I watched your video because I thought I was doing something wrong. I am going to try it again using something other than Juvia’s foundation and Concealer and see if it does the same thing

@@TyerraBrown Hi Tyerra so I tried the Gobi Powder with my Nars Soft Matte foundation and it worked. It was not patchy and I used and beauty blender to set my makeup. So I think the powder is not compatible with its own foundation but I am going to keep testing it out. But so far it plays well with other foundations.

I’m a bit late commenting but I bought the concealer, foundation, and setting powder and I have never used setting powder before this but after 3 hours all my t-zone and end of my nose completely lifts and separates and looks awful! After watching this video I’m going to try again without the setting powder and just use a normal face powder and see how it goes after a few hours! I really hope it’s just the powder that’s the problem!! Love the video btw😍💖

This definitely happened to me every time I use their setting powder as well. I recently got the Laura Mercier medium glow powder, how do you feel about it since we're veering away from heavy highlighting?

I’ve never tried the GLOW powder from Laura mercier but I stand by the original translucent and the translucent honey depending on what kinda face I’m doing. 💖💖
