Ive read the Subtle Art of Giving a F before too, and nothing was memorable for me. I cant understand why books like this become popular. You are going to so many book festivals, how fun!

Not sure where you’re at but there’s definitely some on the East coast too! Lots in nyc of course. Yallfest is in Charleston (although I’m not sure if that’s considered east coast or south… lol). I’m planning on going to some in Ohio and Tennessee this year 🤞

Sorry for the delay! Marisa (what a gem) is right! There’s SteamyLit which is also east coast, YALLFEST which is way bigger than YALLWEST, and a bunch more 🤔 I’m blanking. I think Google and Instagram helps!

I loved your thoughts on The Subtle Art! I've seen many women sing its praises but I don't think I would enjoy it especially with the disgusting way he was talking about women. Also, it's interesting that the success of this book and the way that he was acting definitely spoke to the privilege that he lives in.

Girl I only read 2 books in March so 3 isn’t so bad… HAHA 🫣 something was in the air last month I have always been so turned off by the subtle art of not giving a f*ck… just looking at the cover and the way it’s branded I’m like ohhh that’s not for me. Thanks for confirming my suspicions though 🤪 glad you still enjoyed gods of jade and shadow
