Dj mag is a joke. You can literally get up there by pushing people to vote for you in social events or social media. It's about the amount of votes they have, not the quality of music. Amount of votes is not a good indicator of good music

@@PatrickJoshua I think they're, (WE are), more common than you might think! I'm almost 50 myself, and I've been an avid raver my whole life, (since the very beginning of the musical "underground" movement here in the USA in the early and mid 90's), and Gryffin is just one of the MANY new artists that I absolutely LOVE! I have been at at least 3 raves over the years where I've seen people who were already definitely seniors, but they were still dancing and having great fun, so that's cool to see, and I hope that I can still be like that when I'm actually that age too!... Never stop dancing is what I say... OR exploring/discovering new music! (Especially awesome EDM like this, as that is one VERY important thing to help keep you "forever young", IMO!)

Gryffin definitely deserves more recognition for all the music he makes. He takes the time to infuse so much meaning into each song and collaborates with amazing artists to bring them to life. Would be awesome to see him collab with Tori Kelly or Kelly Clarkson. Both are amazing vocalists and that would for sure blend in nicely with the awesome musicality that Gryffin possesses. 😁

as of today, Nurture is 100% finished. i turned in the absolute final version a few minutes ago. it’s my favorite music i’ve ever made. i’m so so fucking grateful for the extra time... the album (and me) have both benefitted so much. now that it’s submitted it’ll still be a few months before it comes out. expect a single or two between now and then >:) alright imma go celebrate by immediately starting on making the live show.
