GS 1150 GSA - valves sound

2002 with 16 k miles. The first part of the video was just after I got her in Oct 2023, since then I have done the following:
Cam chain tensioner upgrade
Push rods upgrade
Set valves and push rod arms
After the 2nd part of the video balanced the throttle bodies and she runs even smoother.
Note: The recording picks up the sound of the altenator belt as you can see the cover is still off.

Thanks mate, with lots of help from your great videos. After I shot this I balanced the throttle bodies and it is running even sweeter. Itching to get her out for a test ride and of course getting some decent miles on her. Slange Var my GSer mate.

@@MALVSMACHINE Sorry for late reply laddie, been down with man flu 😊 Nearly there, taking the opportunity to tidy up some areas of surface rust etc. whilst tank is still off. MOT due on the 12th April so gotta get it finished soon mate

What a noticeable difference 👍 When are you looking to take her out and shoot some more video?

Yes, when I listened back to the video before this was done, I shudder to think how rough that poor engine sounded. Been doing lots of other TLC to her too so not just the engine. Her MOT is due early April so need to get her ready for that and hanging for the weather to get better which it is slowly. I have been thinking for some time, I love doing timelapse of clouds and the perfect backdrop for that would be The Old Man O’ Storr - fancy a ride up there?
