The Process Used By Dr.Shivin can be decoded from the type of Questions he is asking her. He is broadly trying to make her show case the reverse engineering that went behind the a single answer she attempted in the Mains. "This" actually is the way Talks with a topper must be conducted. Thanks to some traditions established earlier where The Toppers talk became a monologue and interactions took a back seat. Hence Forth, Gone are those days when the talks revolved around "What" a topper did, this earmarks the beginning of an era where a discussion revolves around "How" and "Why" things were done in a particular way and the "End" or the outcome which was set forth at the beginning. ❤
