The GS-911 diagnostic device is really the only option for BMW motorcycles, including the RT, GS and K series. In this video I'll unbox the unit and setup the software, then connect it to my R1200RT. I found that the interface works and it has all the functions you could want, including the ability to reset service life, read fault codes, see real-time data, work with the ABS brake system, enter TPMS codes for new sensors, and more. However, the software interface is kind of clunky, right out of the 90s. You can use your laptop over WIFI, or a USB cable, or you can even connect with your phone. The "enthusiast" version allows up to 10 bike VIN numbers and it retails at $400.
