Slide stop notch slowly rounds out due to peening by the slide stop as the slide is alloy. Eventually the slide will not lock back.

Good review and it will be a lot cheaper to shoot than a real 45 ! It does look like a standard 45 that I carried in the Navy in the early 80's as a TM3 on a DDG !

Very true and it is an extremely accurate fun gun to shoot. Good to know a fellow squid. I was stationed on a lot of ships, but never DDG I was on frigates light cruisers, cruisers, carriers, and D D’s.
