I live in the tropics, it's hot here...I've owned the green one for 4 years now...daily...it's the ultimate time tool for every 'day' use. It keeps perfect time, band is still 'as new', and use in ocean and pool has not affected anything with regards to aesthetic or function. G-shocks are great tools...

I have this model (black) for a few months and I like it a lot. Very lightweight. Streptracker is very accurate. About 1500 steps = 1 km when walking and 1300 when running. It automatically syncs with my iPhone by BT that is more convenient then Multiband. If I would to pick a negative point it would be that wings grab my wrist hair 😉 Otherwise 👌

Step count is precise for me as well, about 1500 steps for 1km. Haven’t tried running yet. I agree with the easy time adjustment as well. So easy. I haven’t found any negative point yet for me luckily. 😃

I own the black one.... LOVE IT! It is super light weight and i love the display. I never take it off it's so comfy. Great video!!

I buy 2 of this. Grey and green. Super nice g-shock every setup you can do it via apps. Love the buckle and the texture grip on straps.

Nice you noticed the the buckle lock. A tips for easy open you need to squeeze the buckle on both site. It will open smoothly if you do that.

Advise sought for first G, looking at sales now: A.DW5600bbn or B.GWX5600wb or C.G9300. A.I like the cloth band and straight forward black face. B. I like atomic and solar for time- and keeping, doubt on color and visibility of the screen. Tides are a nice extra. C. always liked colored models with nagetive display, this standard is heavily discounted. Nice vids, I like them

You could fit a DW5600bbn watch band + adapter on the GWX5600WB though. WIN. For color variations, they aren’t a lot but you could try other g-lide model’s bezel to fit in if you want.

Thanks for the review, I just picked up the Navy colored model for cheap. I got it for the step tracking and bluetooth connectivity. I only wish it was solar.

I own gba 800LU, and it is great, but the alarm is too short for me, without snooze option, the rest is great. My 50 euro iluminator has snooze. You can review it, it wiil be nice. Sorry for my english.

The problem is the height of the watch. I mean the lug to lug distance is very big in comparison with the case diameter of the watch. I think ga 2000 fits much better on small wrists

3 = Green color code A = analog/two tone/'and'/etc. It could be anything really to describe the watch DR = Market place (most country in Asia) JF = Market place (Japan only)

Thanks for the review bro.. This is my 1st gshock.. Lol.. I got the black matte, love it so much. My concern is on strap, so many holes and i think the width size is small.. But i hope it last more than 2 years for the battery and the strap as well.. :) what do u think about the strap so far?

So far it is holding up really nicely. The holes will helps a lot with heat insulation and allow us to lock it properly with the keeper. The size is great even for my skinny wrist.

The watch connects manually to your phone. Though you can turn off auto time reception and it won't try to connect to your phone 5 times a day.

Plastic buttons?! 10-$-watches have metal buttons but 120$ one not... Perfect functions of the watch - a real smart watch build to last in may opinion. Minimalist stealthy dial and overall design. The band keeper is perfect by functionality...but... Plastic buttons - deal breaker. Any other G-shocks having plastic buttons? Anyway, thank you for the informative video.

They're a few more model with resin button like GD-400, GD-350, GAX-100, basically most models around 100-150usd. Plastic button on a G-Shock is times better than any wrist watch out there. Heck, Casio G-Shock has better quality than regular Casio watch!

Hey LOVE your vids. I just got this watch today. I just have a question can we reset the steptracker to zero steps? If yes how?

Yes you can. First you need to return to home time keeping mode. Then, “reset” + “start” - press both of this button at the same time and hold it for about two seconds. An indicator will appear on screen and you’ll hear two beeps when it is done.

This model is much much smaller than the gba-400. You gonna like this. But this model cannot do what the GBA400 could. So there are still some ups & downs for both.

It could goes for about two years. You don’t need bluetooth to use this watch. The bluetooth connection is there for your phone to calculate calorie burns & automatic time adjustment mostly.

JDM = Japan Domestic Market JDM releases are G-Shock watches that was released specially for Japan consumers. NON-JDM is for countries outside Japan. YES. Casio made TWO types of G-Shock released of the same watch every time. One type for Japan. One type for the rest of the worlds. They had been doing this for decades.

It will the the personal data that you registered into the app and also us the accelerometer to calculate all that. Its pretty impressive!

Not sure, what else to improve. We already bunch of square bluetooth model already at every price range. Although there will be one coming out soon that feature metal bezel & resin band.
