They announced availability today-retail is $250! I got lucky and was able to purchase one right before they sold out, but only after trying many times because high website traffic was causing issues. Hopefully I don't have those problems you're having since it is pretty expensive. It'll be replacing my Camp Chef Everest which I like a lot but it's bulky. I love the flexible fuel hose since I too agree with those solid ones being cumbersome.

Mine arrived yesterday... the rubber bumpers and lid alignment was the first thing I checked.. luckily mine are straight. Even spacing on both sides and the rubber bumpers are good to go. The wind block tabs like you said are sharp though.. took a file to them and now they're good. Other than that.. this stove has some heft to it.. can't wait to use it though..

Thanks so much for the review! I ordered my first one about a month ago and the misaligned top and smashed rubber stoppers for the first thing I look for. Unfortunately, when I took it out of the box I have the exact same problem period. It was so misaligned that I actually sent it back and the retailer sent me a replacement. The second one was not perfect, just slightly off, but the rubber bumper on the right side is still getting smashed… Definitely an unfortunate design flaw. Other than that though a great stove!

Is the stove compatible with an adapter type hose to use with a 5lb bottle?

I have this and the rubber nubs SUCK! looks like you have the same problem as me. It sucks that the lid does not stay closed. For the price it sucks that it has this dumb design flaw. Should have made a latch You can get a Jetboil Genesis for the same price.
