In late 1984 she appeared on 5 episodes of the Falcon Crest TV series, season 4.
She turns out to be a long-lost half-sister of Angela Channing.
Kate Vernon also appeared in this season.

I wish a network would pick up these old soaps (and more, such as old daytime soaps!) and broadcast them so those of us who didn't get to see them when they first aired can do so. Today's television is lacking substance and most of all GLAMOUR. I was a teen in the 80s and no one could glitz and glam it up like we did back then! Reboots are just copycats, you can't beat an original!

The only time I ever watched any of these shows was these episodes with Gina. I had to rent a VHS deck to time schedule recording. And setting the time on these things is difficult but well worth to see Gina.

Gina é a mais italiana de todas e a mais bela. Nos anos 50 era Sophia Loren é quem fazia os filmes que Gina recusava: Lollobrigida se fez sozinha, jà Sophia teve Carlo Ponti. Lollo esta maravilhosa em Falcon Crest.

It's a shame they had Gina for just 4 episodes; they should've kept her and made her into the Falcon Crest Italian version of the English Alexis Carrington of Dynasty. The truth is, CBS didn't want Gina; they wanted the more "presentable" and "more well-known" Sophia Loren. Sophia didn't want the job, however, because they wouldn't pay her like $150,000 an episode. It's a shame yet again; CBS wanted Sophia for 13 episodes, but signed Gina to only 4 episodes at $10,000 each.

lol at Sophia being presentable. Just a peasant girl from Naples who had she not married a much older married man with kids would be nothing. Gina is the only Italian diva I respect. Did it all on her own.

Falou alguém por aí embaixo que a Gina tinha nesse momento sessenta anos!!...ela era uma das famosas clientes (a Loren também) do Pitanguy mas não é essa a coisa que fazía dela esse monumento à beleza porque muitas fazem procedimentos estéticos e não estão assim; isso é um dom que é para poucas, a genética do físico de uma donna italiana mas também aquele "algo a mais" que trascende do físico, vem do interior, do espíritu mesmo e que faz que os que a olham fiquem cativos da sua imagem!! nossa!...estrelas dessas já não vem mais, todas essas mulheres ( homens também obviamente) tem ido partindo pouco a pouco da Terra nos deixando os seus filmes maravilhosos! não em vão essa época foi chamada de "dourada",...Hollywood, Cinecittà, etc. etc.

Too bad they didn't put on Ingrid Bergman, Katherine Hepburn, Barbara Stanwyck or better yet...Bette Davis! I think a Bette Davis/Jane Wyman matchup would have been full of fire and music!
