One has class, and is a true professional. The other is a spoiled little rich bully who has to have the last word like a 12 year old. GSP, the true heart of a champion.

besides who is better or not. just love how GSP is so humble and always act respectful. no doubt GSP won and both are great fighters. but GSP got great characteristics, not every fighter with great fighting skills has that.

in their first fight, saint pierre went to the hospital for one night to check if his nose was broken or not, which wasn't broken at all...and all that was because BJ pocked him in the eye and Pierre couldnt see well.. get your shit right

GSP has always been humble. Always a sportsman. He is confident but never really talks trash. BJ used to have a huge attitude problem. He still kind of does. He does it because he wants to get the hype built up for the fight, publicity, but still also because he likes to run his mouth. He ran his mouth before he fought Joe "Daddy" who is a GOOD fighter and deserved a title shot. But BJ Penn still fought very well and won. BJ is a great fighter, but can still has an attitude problem.

back then GSP was a weaker striker..but more importantly was the eye poke...its hard seeing punches comin at ya when you only have one eye and Penn still wasnt able to finish him...GSP coulda stopped the fight and regain his sight but he didnt, hes a warrior, shrugged off the eye poke and went all the way winning the fight..Now GSP is an amazing striker, look at what he did to fitch..now were gonna see who the better striker is..GSP is just as fast and has a reach advantage

In the first confrontation, BJ gave George the worst beating I have ever seen GSP absorb, BJ broke GSP's nose in the first round but George came back to win the fight in a very close decision, but GSP is a different fighter today, he is much improved and it shows how he took away everything that BJ had that was effective in the first confrontation (i.e., speed, flexibility). GSP is definitely on top of his game and a true role model and champion. Who's next maybe Anderson Silva.

There is a difference between confedence and conceded. By hearing the both of them talk in all these different interviews I would say GSP is confedent and BJ is conceded. GSP isn't talking crap to where I see BJ talking smack left and right. We all know that the one that talks the most shit is the one that gets his ass beat. nuff said. my vote is for GSP.

Here are the facts: GSP is an admirable professional hard working man that never had shit handed to him. Penn on the other hand is a rich trust fund baby who is caught up with his whole hero status on the island of Hawaii. Just because your next door neighbor thinks your the kinf og mma does not mean you are. Some advice to BJ: Get some real training partners that are as goos or better than you, you surround yourself with people that are not up to your level.

This fight is only for the Welterweight title. GSP can't drop enough weight to fight at Lightweight. If BJ loses this fight, he's still the Lightweight champion. If he wins, hes the Lightweight and Welterweight champion.

BJ Penn is from Hawai'i. People don't dress up in Hawai'i like they do in Montreal. 1. It's too freaking hot out 2. It's just Island Style. BJ is staying true to himself by not wearing that suit. Although to some it definitely wouldn't seem that way. Anderson Silva is the best pound for pound fighter in the UFC. But if you want to talk about in the world? Now anyone else would have to move to Heavyweight and fight Fedor. There's no doubt he's the best fighter in the world.

For everyone who talks about the eyepoke. GSP hits guys in the balls (at least 5 times) more than Penn pokes eyes (twice). If thats all you got stop watching combat sports. Also Penn was ahead both times an eyepoke occured (vs. hughes and gsp).

GSP is my favorite fighter because of his attributes AND he's a true sportsman. I love how BJ Penn said he can bring quick reflexes, speed, and how he thought his standup was better. HAHAH why didn't BJ say his JIU JITSU FIRST?! He has world class Jiu Jitsu. Then again GSP has shown time and time again his Jiu Jitsu is very good. But there's no doubt that GSP is faster than BJ Penn, and has faster reflexes. And even though BJ's standup has improved over the years, it's not as good as GSP's.

his striking is not superior to GSP's and to add GSP's wrestling is far and beyond Bj's, I dont know why every1 is making such a big deal out of BJ in this fight, GSP can dictate where he wants the fight to go, hes in better shape so he can out work BJ, and hes much bigger. BJ has a punchers chance at best.

If you think that was a fight your kidding yourselves. I'm sick of watching George not finish people. When he can't beat you standing it's always take-downs. Oh wait, he couldn't submit him either. So are we stuck watching George never finish a fight again? Anyone can hold BJ on the ground. But you didn't submit him, he didn't tap and you didn't KO him. What is this? Some kind of elementary schoolyard fight? George fought the Lightweight champ and couldn't finish. So Sad.

haha, sad is bj shit talking non-stop from day one ... then the only good thing he did positive was get up once of the many time GSP took him to the ground. GSP fought smart and in the end, round 5 wouldve gone maybe a minute in til BJ wouldve been completely knocked out ... as in being carried off in a stretcher knocked out, and his corner saw that. BJ got messed up so bad he didn't even know where he was at first when the doctor asked him at the end of the 4th, barely a scratch on GSP
