GSpeed G-Shot VS FABN801 MOA Truck in Unlimited [North V South RC Crawlin Champ. Qualifier Round 3!]

In this video, I break down two runs from the North VS South Utah RC Crawlin Championship 3rd Southern Qualifier round. We’re pitting two very different trucks together this time-the ScumbagRC G-SPEED G-Shot is going head to head against Thomas from FABN801’s MOA Truck in the Unlimited class!
One of the things that make this competition particularly interesting is the looseness of the rules-allowing a showdown like this to go down. The G-Speed G-shot is a very capable crawler-with servo on axle Capra axles and a high clearance body; but can it compete against the motor on axle design, which allows the driver to have razor sharp precision over his truck? Stay tuned to find out!

My son is building a shafty, so he's responsible for bringing me to this Video. I love the Scale Trail running rigs! Mainly because I thought competition style rock crawling was just shy of DEAD!!! Every time I bringing my Scale Trail rigs to Utah, I can't find any place to test any new lines! Seeing this Video is totally awesome!!! I have been asking all the wrong questions to all the wrong people!!! Now I see 👀 a candle 🕯 flicker, at the end of the tunnel !!!!! Many thanks to you for sharing this with us!!!!!! 😎

fun seeing comparisons like this, it might be interesting to jump back and forth from each truck for each gate although I know that's allot of editing

That’s a great idea!! Definitely a bit more editing, but I think it could be very worth it. Just need to find a bit more time for myself to edit these videos together-I’ll keep this in mind, though! Cheers! 🤙🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Both excellent drivers! Thomas got almost as many points on this one course as he did running 4 previous courses combined. He does great staying cool under pressure and came out of south round 3 and the south unlimited champion! Congrats T!

I absolutely agree! Watching these guys pick apart the course was a treat-I can’t believe how capable these MOA trucks are too… I think I’m sold on one now 😅 But everyone always gets more points when the High Noon filming crew is in tow-it just seems to be a rule of thumb 😂 thanks for checkin in Logan!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Honestly, I didn't even know that MOAs had variable speed on each axle and that sounds like a lot to get used to, so I'd pick the GSpeed

Very fair! MOA’s are definitely a bit more intensive to drive, but the lines they’re capable of are insane. All up to what you want to do with the hobby! 🤘🏼

Absolutely agreed! I’m a huge fan of the looks of belly-draggers, but that MOA can crush some killer lines!

It’s freaking insane how many chassis options there are right now for belly draggers yet the bully seems to have been king of crawling for so long. Guess that’s why there so many diff classes for comps. Have great holidays dude!
