Honestly if you’re just looking to scratch the itch I would say get a bike that you’re comfortable on. I love the fit of the GSXR but it’s not for everyone, some people love the R6 or the Zx6r’s, it mostly comes down to personal preference. I say get the bike you can get on and feel confident, have fun, and be safe on, that’s what it’s all about. Thanks for watching Carlos! Let’s get these LT’s out soon 😉

You won’t be disappointed, this bike has 33k on it and still runs like the day I bought it! 💪🏻 No performance mods at all, I honestly like having a basically bone stock bike and seeing how fast I can push it personally. I’ve only had suspension tuned which made a huge difference, and just a slip on exhaust which I doubt makes any performance gains

I'm excited to start riding the bike. I've only ridden naked bikes so looking forward to the sport bike experience. Watching your track riding is giving me some impetus to go take a track day once I'm used to the bike. One question, where do you get the stickers made for the bikes? Any companies you suggest ? I’m trail braking on most corners especially the faster paced ones (1,3,13) some I’m engine braking just a tad though. I’ll have to do a wider view next time 👍🏻

I agree! Unfortunately a lot of track organizations don’t allow helmet mounted GoPros. Some do though, and I’ll definitely be doing so when I have the opportunity 👍🏻

Keep the tank mount; I love it. Maybe scoop a clear ZG Corsa for better visibility/wind protection? I’ve been waiting on mine for 2mo 😂.

How do you like them compared to the DOTs?

@@scmcintwe’ve been hesitant bc we weren’t sure we wanted to make the move to slicks but super glad we finally did. The hook up and grip right off the stands is a phenomenal feeling. I can also feel a LOT more feedback from tires compared to the Q4/Q5

​ @SALTxTHExWOUND Interesting about the feedback, something I hadn't considered. I've been sticking with sticky DOTs for track days partly for the convenience of not needing tire warmers, plus I still street my bike. I've also witnessed countless riders crash their bikes because of their slicks not having or maintaining enough temperature. They're temperamental things with a narrow operating window. When Heather dropped her bike, my first thought was cold slicks, but I guess you guys didn't switch to the slicks until the day after.

Track riding is a lot different than street riding, I’ve seen guys on 400’s on this track passing guys on 1000’s.
