Bringing back memories from the hey day of BMX early 1980’s. I recently acquired a 40th anniversary 29” Big Ripper. It’s perfect for my 6’-1” frame. I’m 56 and I’ve been out of the BMX scene since 1984 when I started driving. They sure have changed since then.

Radically cool builds, they both look like perfect NOS from an 80's showroom, I love that straight cut and cap at the end of the top tube it reminds me of early 80's GT's before the mid 80's slant cut and cap.

Man, the nostalgia from this channel every time I watch it just eats me from the toes to the head I can’t afford to build one like you do well I can afford it but I can’t take that money out of there paying the bills each month and it just kills me. I sure wish I could. I left a red line under a set of steps in an old house, are used to live at some years back and I think about that every day I wish I would know because that would’ve been a perfect frame to start a build but every time I watch your channel man just takes me back to the middle 90s when I bought the very first GT vertigo that was my first big-name bike and then I ended up selling it to my brother years later and I think about that all the time and then I watch your channel and it really makes me think about it here an awesome dude and your bills are awesomely insane. I love every bit of it maybe one of these days I’ll be reaching out to you to ask you are the best parts are instead of leaving a comment like this.
