I figured I would buy a set and check them out

Weird to see GT/Dyno stuff on a Haro, but it doesn't look bad though! 👍 I just picked up a set of these repops for an 88 Detour that I want to restore this year. 🤙

Back in the day all my friends has diff brands on their bikes. It was rare to see a person on a bike with parts from one Brand. Thanks for the comment!

The original 87 D stamped 4130 chromo pro compe pretzel bars weigh 1.14 pounds.I weighed my og ones b4 i powdered them. For comparison the 87 d-tour bars were pretty heavy and weigh 2.8 pounds. I dont like the new pretzel much cause the crossbar is too high and doesnt look as good imo,they are passable but look better monnuted than loose. Most full chromo 80's bars are all under 2 pounds

Yea I was surprised out how light my Gt bars felt. The Lineage bars are pretty much tanks too. There isn't a lot of info out there on what these Dyno Bars are made out of. GT rep says they are Chromoly. To be honest I might leave these on and cruise some with em. They are kind of growing on me. I really don't like the Lineage Knee savers much at all. Whats your fav bar of all time?
