Couple more things to know: - Any new liveries you've applied are removed when drift tuning is removed. I wasted $250K trying this 💀 - I know I say "busy" a lot; I tend to have these sort of "safe" words or phrases I use frequently when I don't script my recordings - hopefully it didn't affect the watchability of this video. - There were liveries added to some other cars or bikes, but I haven't seen any confirmation on which ones which is why I just focused on the drift cars in this video. Got more drifting content for this update coming very soon, thanks for watching and stay tuned :)

The Lampedati Tropos is one of the other cars that got new liveries, however as of right now these liveries are just hidden in the game files with no (legitimate) way of purchasing them. Maybe they’ll either be dripfeed, or given out as rewards in some upcoming event.

I think the „drift taxi“ livery on the Cypher is a nod to the ones legal drift taxis on the nürburgring when drifting was still allowed. They had these official taxis that u could book a lap on at any touristenfahrten and they would obviously drift the track. Maybe thats where they had their inspiration. Im sure that the term „drift taxi“ is used on other tracks on the planet, but thats what came to my mind. Correct me if u have other ideas

the Declasse Drift Tampa is a reference to the Ken Block's Hoonicorn and that new Junk livery gets it pretty nice (R.I.P. Ken)

Wish they could give the car more customization. Something like the turbos sticking out of the hood like the Drift Yosemite or a Blower so we could build the variations of the Hoonicorn. Unless they say f*ck it and give us a Benny's upgrade for the Ellie and make a more accurate Hoonicorn

@@Famen7 exactly, they have nerfed the speed soo much on the cars. Idk about the Cypher or the nebula but the sent classic wide was definitely to slow, it just wanted to stay in a straight line.

Ngl I was really hoping Rockstar was gonna go back and add the missing F&F liveries from the Tuner DLC cars like the RT3000 and Remus (Johnny Tran’s S2000, Suki’s S2000 [even though the Princess Robot BumbleGum livery is sorta of a reference] and the of course Letty’s 240SX, the MonoLisa from Tokyo Drift and the sliver S15 at the end of Tokyo Drift that Sean drives against Dom’s

When i first saw these new liveries, my jaw almost hit to the ground and almost almosttt forgive rockstar for ruining drift uprages. Also about tentacles i think they are trting to start and create their own special style because you know you can see a lot of dragon and tiger at real life drift cars with flames etc and then Rockstar came with octopus-kraken which is exact opposite of those animals. İ think thats brilliant and i love it.

Easter egg is definitely a reference to Iketani's S13, although maybe a little bit of Kenji's 180SX too? Iirc Iketani didn't have sponsor stickers on his Slivia's door, just the Akina Speed Stars hood sticker, while Kenji's 180 had the door sponsor stickers.

I just added drift tuning to my tampa about a week ago, but shoved it back in my garage cause of the boring liveries. But I love that red and black tribal flames one they just added. Gives me a reason to actually drive it around instead of leaving it to collect dust

On Nürburgring Nordschleife you can book to be a codriver of insanely skilled race drivers that smash a lap half drifting. Usually a BMW. It is called "Ring taxi". I think that's the reference.

I dont know about the USA but here in Europe you can always find a drift taxi at drift events. Basically they are regular drift cars but you can pay to be a passenger

From my opinion... the reason they did'nt add liveries for the FR36 is becaus not many ppl use that car to drift. And I don't know why most ppl don't use it. I love it to drift with the FR36

Game tech wise the Drift Cars are completely different vehicles with different physics and different sets of liveries. And let me guess, they are availaible only on consoles.

There is a downside to these liveries as you do loose some of the street racing liveries with it. I did it for the nebula turbo and lost a pretty good livery I had on it already for it.
