Honestly, Michael doesn't seem like a bad father he's just depressed about the things he's done and the choices he's made but overall he's trying to change things for the better. It's kinda like Michael has too much patience for his shenanigans, to the point where Jimmy isn't afraid of looking stupid around him. But whenever Jimmy embarrasses himself in front of Franklin the "allergies" start. Jim knows how Michael is going to react: Mild frustration and disappointment But he doesn't really know how Franklin is going to react yet. Frank might call him out on his shit for all Jimmy knows, but he doesn't because he has the patience of a saint. Jimmy needs help. Mostly from himself.

Jimmy is the only NPC that all 3 protagonists can hang out with. Only Franklin can take Jimmy to either the bar or Strip Club. Michael can go to the Cinema, Play Darts, or play tennis with Jimmy

You know having two entitled disaster kids. I feel bad for Micheal cause after all he gave them a nice home and still ain’t grateful. Micheal ain’t all bad. You can see the wholesome side to him with classic movies and deep down wants to be normal. Unfortunately he makes a half hearted attempt to fix the wounds. In many ways his family hates him. Yet when they are in trouble he will be there. The mission meltdown was the best in the game and that side of him unleashed to protect his family was awesome. There should have been more missions with his family. Micheal is such an underrated character in the GTA series and hope to see more.
