Double clutching works for AWD and FWD too; just when you hit the handbrake you must also click the brake button (L2 / LT)

The double clutch actually works with every car besides the electric ones. For cars like the krieger and itali gto you have to slam RB and LT on xbox instead of just RB, it works for me.

When you try to double clutch in a car with handling flags and the engine stalls...

The way I launch is I spin the wheels and slowly let go of the brake and once the car pulls I fully let go. Try it out. It works for me and it’s much more simple. Not sure what’s faster though. You could try this instead if the other launch along side with the “double clutch” Button instructions: -Hold L2/LT + R2/RT -Slowly let go of L2/LT (about halfway until the car starts moving forward) -After car starts moving, quickly let go if L2/LT and continue holding R2/RT

This is how you double clutch When your car is about to change into second gear you click R1 and you slam down on the accelerator and if you do it right your car wheels will spin and speed up heaps I said this for ps4 that’s why I said R1

Quick thing to mention that can be critical in a race that Barr didn’t reference: If you try to double clutch past 2nd gear, your speed sticks to exactly what it was when you started doing the glitch. If you don’t double clutch you still accelerate but not while doing it, therefore you loose speed overall. Don’t double clutch after 2nd. It can be fatal, just enough loss on your end for your opponent to catch you up.

Dont know why the term "double clutching" became a term in this community. I say and use the term as well but in real life double clutching is down shifting. If your in 3rd and wanna double clutch into 2nd, push in the clutch and shift into neutral, release clutch and rev the throttle to the appropriate rpm for where 2nd would be, then push in clutch again (hence the term double clutch) and put it in 2nd. If you reved it up correctly it should go into 2nd gear with no grab on clutch. All of this is done in about 2 seconds in real life. Just tryna educate y'all 😁

It seems to works better with a stock banshee, I discovered this in story mode years back. I call it dumping the clutch because It seems like dumping the clutch in a real car while rolling.

And there he said it. Just like all of them. Double clutching works with everything. Everything except electric vehicles can do it. It amazes me how many you tubers are so inexperienced, and yet they think they know everything they need to make a tutorial. Rwd is just the easiest. But every car can do it.

Comet retro custom is good with double clutch but you have to break the arches to make it hit 150+

It works on all cars except some of the new ones, it just works best with rwd cars, and it’s a bit stiffer and harder n in rwd or awd, and only on rwd cars you can only tap e brake, you don’t need the actual brake when double clutching

I found that if you hold brake and gas around 3/4 of the way so the wheels don't spin then hold handbrake and then let go of brake and handbrake the launch is quick
