These cars are all great examples of sleepers, because they're unexpectedly quick in comparison with other cars in their respective classes, or in the game as a whole. Hopefully this video does a good job of showcasing some of the best ones so you can try them out for yourselves!

@choppa I'm not surprised you're confused, Toyota and lexus are sister companies so share platforms. But like I said if it was a Lexus it'd be an Emperor in game. Karin in GTA represents Subaru and Toyota (futo=corola/calico=celica/s95=gt86(PS4)) Emperor ETR1 = Lexus LF Emperor Habanero = lexus RX Emperor Vector = lexus RC

yisss rhinehart gang Also for my next gen bois, some of the HSW cars can become real sleepers with all that *speed and power* and extra unassuming looks. Namely the Sentinel XS, Banshee and Astron Custom. The first two can be made to look like literal NPC cars you stole off the street, while the last is a high-end SUV that beats the Pariah on top speed. also also the Elegy RH8 should get a HSW upgrade who's with me

Gotta love the Rhinehart man! And yeah the most obvious sleepers are the HSW ones, including the cars you mentioned but also others like the Stirling GT, S95, and Vigero ZX. Kinda crazy that this random selection of cars can outpace pretty much every supercar/hypercar in the game. And yes - the RH8 definitely deserves a revamp, maybe the December DLC will bring that!

I was tempted to showcase that one, but because it's pretty bad in comparison to the rest of the Sports class I decided against it.

The Annis Elegy does have a Benny's upgrade.

Well aware of that haha, but if you're just sticking with the normal RH8 you won't need to do the upgrade. I know that part of the table is a bit confusing but for future car lists I'll try to rework it so it makes more sense!

Are you talking about the Weevil Custom or the original Weevil? The Custom version's in this video; the original Weevil is extremely slow haha

Great vid. I don't play GTAO for the racing (prefer actual sim racing games for that), so fun and style are bigger factors here for me. Great sleeper list. I've been tooling around in freeroam in a Dinka Blista Compact (the free one for returning players, on Southern San Andreas) with speed/accel mods and an otherwise plain 90s color scheme exterior.

Thanks dude! And yeah the Blista's a fun car to drive, while it's not all that fast it does give a decent sense of speed when driving it on the limit!

I also mainline the Blista. I have it maxed out with a white paintjob and a carbon hood and it feels like I'm running in the 90s.

The Celica we have in game isn't an older one since it's a 1994 model and the first Celica was released in December of 1970. It is the best looking Celica

That's another good sleeper too, all depends on the version you're using though. I know the Buffalo and Buffalo S are pretty slow in the Sports class but the Buffalo STX is one of the faster muscle cars in the game.

It's on the lower-end of the Sports class in terms of performance, which is why it wasn't featured here. I hope the widebody version is at least a little bit faster!

811 in my opinion should be the cheapest and fastest "sleeper" (in the game) car you can buy for just over 1mil

I think you're confusing a "sleeper" car with a car that's underrated / slept-on. A sleeper is a car you wouldn't expect to be fast, either because of it's looks, reputation, cost, etc. Based on that definition, I wouldn't consider a car that's based on a Porsche 918 to be a sleeper haha

Believe it or not it's one of the slowest cars in the Sports class haha, so I wouldn't say it's a sleeper. Top speed is okay but nothing special.

Was definitely considering featuring it here, but it's at a major disadvantage in relation to the rest of the Sports class. While it's quick on its own, the lack of balance in the Sports class means it's not all that useful in races.
