Red Dead is better at most of them due to the difference in years, Suprised how off they were on Swimming though. GTA explosions in water look like they want to have the shockwave effect but didn’t have powerful enough engines, Red Dead they got it done. Free Fall mechanics appear fine in both, Bullet velocity is important too. Explosion wise though it takes a lot of attention to detail to have a computer engine run an explosion destroying pegs of a wooden wheel and bending the wheel as a whole. And as far as one thing you pointed out, In Red Dead 2 as a whole when you fall down into mud or dirt your character gets that on them. Great attention to detail by Rockstar. GTA 6 will be like Red Dead 2.5 probably without the interacting with strangers part.

Wait but aren't they planning on using a different engine in terms of physics and such entirely? Or did you mean in terms of the attention to detail?

@@theleastvalid Most likely but in terms of whatever they make I’d imagine will look to improve on the shockwaves in water, and they’ll keep the falling into mud and getting it on clothes bc thats already coded and easy for them to use now. And theres only so much they can do in terms of realism, Gravity is always going to have one number attached to it in the life we know on Earth. So I think a new engine would probably be for driving mechanics and collisions/vehicle damage.

@@GameNotice. Thanks bro, I’m actually not too into Video Games believe it or not. Im just really into in Physics. I just find it really cool seeing how closely related Physics is with the world around us Physically and in Video Games. Someday we will need a video game to make realistic Space physics, Thats something I would love to play someday.

For the swimming one, in rdr2 John marston is not supposed so swim. So I think I looked weird using John but would have looked better with Arthur

It isn't really fair, rdr2 came out in 2018 while gta has its goofy animations since gta san andreas. Also Since gta4

hi, either a 1650 4gb video card or downloaded the red game and or scary graphics you can see very well.. but when I play gta it sucks I see all the lines in the distance as if they were moving it could depend on the game you're playing Is it more recent than GTA?
