For the people talking about the iPhone 5 connection, I have a car kit for a 2004 Mazda and at the time I had a 4S so the adaptor it came with worked just fine. I upgraded my phone to a 5S and solved the problem by buying a lightning cable that has the plugin for a 4/4S and has at the other end a 5/5S/6 connector. It didn't change a single feature that the GTA kit gave me except now my phone charges :) Just a side point for those of you asking for the 5/5S connection, it worked for me with the lightning cable with the adaptor.

There are multiple Apple apps that can stream bluetooth to the car. VLC plays a great variety of music and videos formats. I use it and I can still control the music with the steering wheel or the factory radio. Some cons though (lagged response and so on) but still much more easy!

Once you take the radio off, would you be able to remove the hard metal case to gain access to the LEDs that light the buttons? I'm wanting to change mine to blue and I'm not sure of how to go about getting to the lights or if they would work.

Suggestions on the best way to run the cable to the cup holder? Do you have to remove the gearbox? Also can you navigate by artist and album etc... Or just playlists?

Great kit, i have a mazdaspeed 3 2008.5, i ordered the 2007-2009 kit but doesn't work due to some changed they made for the 2008.5 , so i contact gta, they send me the 2010 kit and work like a charm, plug and play, it also charge my iphone 4s, works with pandora too. thanx vitally and the rest of the gta crew. for people who have ms3 that was made i think after august 2008 get the 2010 kit. you can get the date of when your car is made by the driver side door jam. wil-

i got this kit for my 2010 Mazda Sport, out of all the hands free kits i've seen it's the best so easy to put in and so easy to use,I live in Ireland so to anyone else living in europe i it's the one to get i've had it for like 5 months and have had no problems with it best €125 i every spent

@gtacarkits I just tested again today. It seems the song's title doesn't show on the screen when it's in manual mode. Is it supposed to be like that? It works perfectly in playlist mode.

Does this work with the Bose system? Does Pandora show song info on the MID?

If you are in the hybrid mode, you will be able to choose anything desired from the Apple device. If you if want to navigate through the car only, it will be only playlists.

Just got this thing installed on my 2010 mazdaspeed3. It took around 1 hour. The hardest part is hiding the iPod cable underneath the center console. It was a little bit tricky when putting the head unit back to the slot, since there were whole bunch of wires, need to get them organized before I could put it back. Overall It works perfectly as it said.The sound is much clearer than BT streaming, and the steering control is still functional.The only problem is the song title doesn't show properly

@lxa7 Hi, yes, it is supposed to work like this. It is limitation of apple products - when we don't lock the iPod app, there is no way to sync the current song information with your stereo. Sorry about that.
