you have the base in the XLE model it has dual climate control. It allows the passenger to get different temp from the driver if they wish. Being toyota my fully loaded SE can't get it.

You don’t have to put it in drive you can leave it at park and unscrew the knob. And I agree with you Mr. Lolo it sucks having the AUX port way inside.

First years of this model did not have AUX. Second fact is that you won't have control from the radio with AUX, you will also not have text display on the radio, with AUX. And when using AUX, the sound is analog, not digital.

so whats up with the original? i have 07 camry with navi but when i hit aux nothing happens only cd plays. i try to plug in to the headphone jack in that pocket and my iphone nothing happening. do i need to put that GTA kit or i can make original one work?

Belkin have a Bluetooth device that works with the AUX cable no need for all this work now.

That's my ONLY gripe with these cars.....the AUX jack is total crap. Mine is extremely touchy, I can damn near Blow on the Input Cable running to my phone, and it will cut out.

All that in a 2007-2009 Toyota Camry with the faulty oil burning engines(piston defect) I would be saving up the $2,700 it's going to cost to fix or replace engine first. Then install toys. But I dunno I don't drive yet😁🙃
