Thanks for this video. It actually helped me in learning how to take out the console so I could replace the top door. For the weaklings like me that might have trouble taking out the console at 2:46, I found rubber grip gloves to be beneficial.

Hey, here's a tip. I'm not sure if it's different, but when I removed the radio from a 2006 Toyota Corolla, I didn't have to remove that middle 10mm bolt. So instead of removing 5 bolts, I removed 4. Just in case anyone is trying to save time or they don't have a long enough tool.

@HuggiePampersBambino Yes the kit has two outputs, one for the ipod/iphone and the other one for a 3.5mm jack. You can connect the andriod, but you will have to control the music through andriod.

Hi, The songs name will be displayed, if you are in the Playlist mode. And you can control through the head unit.

FM transmitter = low quality, fuzzy music. Hard-wiring is the best way to go if you want something that sounds decently good.

Many thanks for the very useful video. In my Corolla 2005, I am planning to fit a similar but USB Adaptor into the CD changer socket. On some web sites they advice to remove the battery negative terminal. But in my user manual they suggest to contact the dealers before removing battery. I am afraid to remove the battery as it may reset the devices and may ask for radio security code, which I can't find on the Owners manuals. I just want to connect this USB adaptor into the CD changer socket and don't want to disconnect the CD player. Is it safe to try this without removing the battery ?

You don't have to do this i'll just buy fm transmiter..then plug your mp3 or ipod... that's it...

Its not mistake but U dont have to damage ur car do u want cheap solution like ten dollars or les?! Just do wat i say buy bluetooth its like 3ollars wich takes 5 volt u can put it in ciggarate place and also to complete the action buy tape or cassate wat ever that called its like 5 dollars wich has wire aux in it and drop that wire into the bluetooth that wat i did and u can now hear it from ur car and u can leave the bluetooth and just put it in ur phone
