Been running a GTA kit for several years and now running an iPhone SE with an adapter. Best thing I ever bought for my 2007 Prius. Road trips are great.

Thanks, I used these directions to fix my dad clock that had fallen in. One comment is the "screw" that you said was missing is really a plastic plug, the kind that is a little bigger on the end. You just have to get a flat head screwdriver under it's head and pull it out. My 7 year old helped me with this project and thanks to you it went off without a hitch. Thanks again!

Thanks for the video, it really helped me install an iPhone adapter. Getting the dash apart was much easier than I expected. I have a 2005 Prius with a standard factory stereo.

I took me less than an hour on my 2005 Toyota Prius with the biuldin 6Cd changer cause I was looking for tools and it was dead on with the step, except that my connector is not on the back of the radio is in a knot of cables behind it where the radio cables are at.It would of been simply if I knew, would of taken the whole screen only off but it was done, then I decided to leave the gta kit in the glove box and took the aux cable by closing the glove box im just waiting for my phone holder to arrive and I'll be set so thanks for everything for the video.

i would probably turn my prius into scrap metal if i tried this lol

Hi, The CD changer will not be disabled. Toyota y cable is needed when the connection at the back of the radio is occupied.

Hi, if equipped with the JBL cd changer and navigation, is the CD changer port still available or do I need the Y cable. Thanks, nice job btw.

it's worth doing this installation if the total price for the kit is not more than 30$. There are multifunctional auidio systems that are compatible with Toyota prius and look nice and easy to install,they run around 100-120$

those sizes would be too small. You will just need a regular screw driver, size #2 and up. The ones you have mentioned, are computer repair screwdrivers.

Do you know if that model Prius has bluetooth? if so how is it setup, because I am having difficulties.

you just connect the aux cable to the module, and press play on your device.

Great video for taking dash apart but since you've got the dash off why not just replace the radio? You can buy a touchscreen Boss CD/Radio for about the same price as this kit.

Excellent kit works great in my Toyota prius 2008 model . I am a first timer never opened my dashboard in my car but i was able to easily install it using the video above. Love this product now i have a great music player in my car for 99$ yey .Thanks GTA for coming up with this economical wonderful product. But i am not sure how to play music through the Aux cable as i dont see any option when i connect my aux? can someone help me with this?

the only way to use a different phone, is by using the AUX cable that comes with our kit.

Any mp3 is possible if using headphone's wire?is it the headphone plug in Wire that you're saying Aux?

Got it installed easily. Power cable for my 4s works fine. Problem i cannot figure out how to make it play from Iphpone. Zero sound from my Iphone through my Prius sound system. Any Ideas. Heeeeeelllllp

I don't have an iPhone, I use android products. Could I install the aux cord ONLY? Would I be able to advance songs through the AUX cord? Is there a bluetooth connector (with a helpful video like this one)?

If you have the CD Changer model, does this disable the use of the CD player? Also, what does the "Toyota Y Cable" do and why is it needed for models with navagation? Thank you!
