Yes, I have encountered many many modders on PC, most of the time they are on God mode and spawn right in front of me kill mode. I have to join a new session.

Absolutely shocked last night got kicked from invite only session into public lobby they tried greifing me at first but when I began dropping proximity mines they left me alone pretty quick.

@@Mark-nq1bo That happens if you're afk for too long in free roam lobby in invite session. It happens to me few times because i got distracted with life and what not. It takes about 14 or 13 minutes before you will be kicked and asked to rejoin the game's new session. It wont take you to a new invite lobby it just throw you into public one instead

Last time I played and was in a public lobby a moder started giving me a lot of exp and money spamming very loud audio while saying in the chat that he was hacking me with a progress bar until it failed the next day I hop on my pc and went to check my antivirus only to find it blocked a trojan from GTA V the day before at the time I was playing and the "hacking" failed it really made me think twice before opening gta online again

Yeah, I made the mistake of selling some weapons in a public lobby. Modder just teleported my delivery vehicle over the ocean and I lost everything. Thankfully it was a small sale of $100,000 so I wasn't too upset.

I used to take the risk doing sell missions in public lobbies - I have plenty of money so I can afford losing a cargo - but there are too many modders now, so it's just a waste of time.

If you are playing on PC and don't have mods of your own to combat that, ion know what to tell you. PC is like the 360/PS3 era of games; the person with the best mod menu is the best at the game or match.

Just close the game as soon as you know your gonna lose you cargo. It doesn't have time to save before you leave. When you come back most of it will be there. Typically you lose about 10k but that's better than losing 100k. I have my router app open on my phone. As soon as I know I've lost i just kick my ps5 or ps4 off the router. I used to do it this way for duplicating cars.

@@evandaymon8303-sadly, there are too many people that don’t care and just want to play without thinking about the underlying system that’s making it all work. Sure, they’ll bitch and moan when there are issues, but that’s about the extent of what they’re willing to do. Rockstar will most likely keep operating the way they are, currently, because it’s much cheaper than building dedicated servers that would be more secure and they’re all about profits at this point (just look at how little they’ve invested back into red dead redemption, as an example). There just aren’t enough people to make enough of a big fuss to even begin to sway any kind of real response from rockstar in this regard.

Is this the reason my game feels choppy as all shit when playing on pc today? Cuz I can't even properly mod my cars, without having the same connection problem screen popping up every 2 purchases... I'm on PC and while playing in a public lobby, someone crashed my game (didn't close, endless loop) and when i restarted my PC, ALL MY GAMES on Steam where uninstalled!! I then found out that i just had to add my HDD's in Steam and it was Ok, but still crazy.

Last few month if you join Random Casino heist by phone, it'll end up left by host (unknown) inside Locked Arcade Basement so u must Exit game to continue play GTA online, if that part of the issue, when Report Support team SOP answer is Restart and Verify the Game 😞

I’m on xbox and i had a few things happen to me 1st being this passive mode player stole my oppressor mk2 even though i had the access to friends only 2. while in my salvage yard i noticed i i was not showing that i was at that location but instead further out by the sea 3. the entire map flashed green blue and yellow then when i got out the pause menu my phone opened up and the entire phone was meshed with those colors and it opened up the web app then camera app and my character was frozen for a few seconds before everyone in the lobby “left” but it wasn’t true cause i checked and everyone was still there but off the radar…

It's to do with the custom weapon loadout, go into your agency, moc, bunker or whatever you have it in disable your weapon loadout and then reconfigure it in the loadout menu

This is why one of the many reasons I’ve stopped playing GTA on my PC and just play it on my PS5 now! Fed up off all the modders doing stupid shit all the time and can’t even enjoy playing it on PC! Rockstars response to this is essentially the laziest thing they could do. They need to address the deep security issues that are present in GTA and RDR2. Instead of resorting to slap dash patches that will be attacked and broken by coders smarter than them... Can Rockstar disable the messages I get inviting me to try the Diamond Heist...

Na they won't ban ya. Worse case they will reset your account. They take RP and put you at 0 again. They also take your money. However they won't take cars or properties unless you have a bunch of duplicated cars. I was duping cars and got caught n they reset me. They aren't gonna do anything about your RP

I went from $0 to $7,000,000,000 in about 5 minutes back in 2016 and still have it to this day. I would've quit years before I did if I had to mindlessly grind still. Haven't played for about 3 years now

GTA online on PC is modder heaven. Eight out of ten lobbies has one or more modders in my experience. It's not fun.

Not their job to provide security for your personal information stored on your pc. That YOUR problem. Get a VPN and you'll be safe or cry some more and blame Rockstar I personally don't care..I'm secure with a VPN and multiple firewalls. I'm just tired of seeing everyone with no security complaining or scared to play because yall feel it's Rockstars job to provide security for your PERSONAL COMPUTER. They could address how the hackers get ip addresss and make it harder but they won't. Deal with it or fix it

This is why I support Rockstar not releasing GTA 6 on PC right off the bat. A huge majority of cheaters/hackers are on PC because it is so easy and it's the reason why I won't play a game if it throws you into lobbies with PC players. Sony atleast releases updates to detect cheats and bans the players using them. I tried playing CoD with crossplay on in its first week of its release and was immediately placed in a lobby with a PC player that was under the map and taking everyone out. Crossplay has been off since. All of the people caught cheating, and alleged cheaters in CoD, all of them play on PC. They'd be wasting so many resources to slow down the cheaters on PC, when they could be fixing things and making new content for the game. The PC manufacturers and game stores for PC don't want to help stop/slow down cheaters so just stop making games for PC and let them feel it in their wallet.

Same got banned today for nothing i guess ... Well i do use mods to enable god mode so that none can grief and all my properties my money levels 400 everything was my own grind ... Thank you rockstar for saving my time up .. won't wasting any more in the shitty game ! Lmao

@@aqibnirobyou do know Invite only sessions exist? No need for god mode then. I'm only playing in invite only sessions because i don't want to deal with random people whp can't mind their own business. Random people only wasts my time when i'm trying to grind
