As far as money making goes there really isn't much here. The contracts in the Avenger only pay $60k per mission and Project Overthrow really is just a story playthrough not meant to be grinded over and over. But the new stealth plane is awesome, the Avenger upgrades are good, The Tactical SMG is a good drive by weapon and the QoL improvements are always welcome. Really sucks that they removed almost 190 vehicles from the websites. Its never a good thing when you REMOVE content, then try to sell it to you later (Vinewood Car Club)

Pro you gotta make a rant about this update. Over 180 vehicles removed to buy including doc vehicles, toggle sprint is not in story mode, career challenges are ridiculous and start veteran players at 0 for many of them. I’m sure you can find many more things to rant about. Love the content

I feel like this update deserves some sort of second part. It was really underwhelming and I feel like there has to be something else that’s gonna be added.

My only complaint is that it takes too long to do the On Parade mission SOLO due to the new fighter jets missiles It took me 40 minutes to do the on parade mission

For the 3rd mission taking them into the city helps, if your lucky one crashes on the mountains also they seem to hate skyscrapers especially the arcadius building, you can uses them as shields and hopefully they get stuck and then you blast them to bits from cover

It's hilarious how many people Merryweather has. We've killed dozens in the single player, hundreds or thousands across the online missions, heists, campaigns, you'd think they would go bankrupt or run out of manpower and be forced to shut down at this rate.

Honestly I really liked this DLC, way better than Los Santos Drug Wars personally. The drip feed is not so much content which means that it won't take 6 months so that's pretty good.

I think the only thing that makes ne mad at this dlc is the lack of closure for Merryweather. They didn't get any cutscenes they didn't have a main antagonist not even the CEO calling you telling you to watch your back. And i think the LSA should replace Merryweather in your phone and get one last call from Merryweather saying "We regret to inform you valued customer but we will no longer be offering services in your region"

Professional they removed 30% of all the vehicles in the game that includes motorcycles two-car vehicle and the works im a part of the MC community and most of the motorcycles added in the bikers DLC is now gone Rockstar has showed to us that they don't care about the community

I feel like the third mission was designed around the jet using the OP weapons the other jets used. Like the mission was designed and then it was decided to give the jet trash weapons. Because the weapons are too garbage to be used for that mission.

That last mission on solo/hard mode really pushed me. I had nothing left. I didn't die as well and like you I'm glad I didn't know anything about it before my first attempt. Operation Overthrow are clearly the missions I will like to do the most on solo from now on. I know it will already be much better on the second playthrough now that I know what to expect and how much of it. My god. That last one is relentless.

Parade: there are are three strats that work, Deal with the helis and jets first. 1) go in stealth through Raton Canyon so that the air defences destroy the Avengers 2) flow low over water and make sharp turns as the AI will crash into the water 3) fly low to the city as the AI will crash into low terrain behind you

That first mission store the vehicle in the Avenger, you were too excited about animations to catch on

i havent played gta since the contract and i came back for this update and ngl i found the whole dlc pretty underwhelming. story was ok but i expected more from a "military" style update. new jet is cool (for the first few hours) but honestly the dlcs have been the same since the contract, just adding some QoL improvements and a few new missions. ontop of that, removing 200 cars from the game then adding the car club to encourage ppl to buy gta+ is just dissapointing. and i dont even wanna start on them making drip feed vehicles limited time. it just seems to me like rockstar is just trying to milk this game and its players for every last cent until gta6 comes out. hence the smaller scale updates. what a shame tbh.

I was about to finish these missions without failing once. Until that one mission where you rescue Avi, the pilot just drove the Avenger to the water and I don't know why 💁 It was already the get away part.

For On Parade, I let the Avengers into the city, and one of them crashed on the way, made me very happy. I tried counting how many missiles it takes to drop one, but I stopped at 100.

when I did this first mission I put the target vehicle in the avenger and transported it to the location I found that it was better instead of driving the 4 plus miles encountering the enemies along the way since you are much safer in the avenger they will stop following when your close to the drop location just a suggestion if you wanna avoid the enemy but if you enjoy the challenge then go for the ground transport.

For anyone having issues with the “On Parade” mission (to unlock the trade price on the F-160): when the Avengers arrive, just activate stealth mode and fly low through Raton Canyon. They should destroy themselves. If you’re still having problems, Gtamen made a good video on how to deal with the mission. No, this is probably not how the mission was designed to be overcome. Although, it’s so obviously designed for multiplayer, if you’re solo you might appreciate these tactics. I’m sure The Professional will eventually make a video on this mission, but until then, use this to save yourself from what could easily become hours of frustration.

You could have driven the Draugar vehicle to your Avenger’s rear and then you can fly your Avenger to the delivery location.

For that first mission, that's all you get is $19,000 for all that time. Its not worth it. It's not even worth the cost of an avenger to do this.

2:09 happens to me once in a while, even before the new update. If I'm making smart moves, not failing, making lots of money. The game seems to try to throw me off. But, its good because I always have a workaround. And that's why the game likes to give me a hard time. That's what it feel like when I play.
