I am sorry for the length of the video. I just felt very strongly about some of these issues its why I talked about it for a decent time. If I sounded sad during the commentary I apologize for that as well. This is one of my favorite games but these things I do believe are hurting the game. Is there anything else that I missed or do you disagree with me on any of my points? I would like to hear other opinions.

The lowriders update was great! It added really fun contact missions and just focused on making cool and fun cars that aren't any threat to anyone. It also added Benny's, which brings in the level of customisation I haven't seen since Midnight Club Los Angeles

I feel you on this. I just started gta on my new ps4. Have little amount of money so i grind alot to buy this cool batmobile (vigilante) and guess what? I have to buy the facility and buy an avenger just so i can customise the batmobile ..which requires alooot of money 😭😭

I think the first thing they need to do about grieving is to stop showing gegourmet cargo to the entire session and telling other players to destroy it for cash and rp. If your cargo and supplies and stuff can’t be seen on the mini map and only your player blip can be seen the chances of being griefed will be drastically reduced.

Really wish Rockstar would fix at least one of these things......

"Constant militarization takes GTA Online away from what it's supposed to be." Great explanation. Completely agree. GTA Online has gotten away from it's core - enabling and encouraging players to be moneymaking criminals. I wish the PvP would focus more on stealing from each other rather than destroying each other. That would make the PvP infinitely more compelling.

yesterday my friend and i, we were playing just trying to have some cool outfits and comes this god mode jet abuser and the only thing that helped us is that he lost connection.

I was playing with this randoom guy once on PC and we were having a good time then a modder blew us up and started changing the weather rlly fast so i left went and bought a mod menu and now i just play for fun and help people with missions and i stopped modders from changing the weather in my lobby

I remember that a modder got mad at me for fighting back so they wiped my ammo for every gun and the buy all wouldn't replenish them, so i lost 300k+ trying to replenishing them

felt that with the bugs. lately i’ve been getting one where i am selling vehicle cargo after spending 20k on it, i drive through all the danger of other players and IF i make it to my destination the game gets me stuck in the cutscene right before you earn your money, still vulnerable to gunfire or missiles. i have lost a few top range cars from it it’s really frustrating

Hey Pat, I normally never comment but I finally wanted to say this: I've been subscribed to you since you were around 6k subs and although your content and quality has always been great I did think you would not grow largely over the 100k subs range. I continued watching you and your channel grow, the subs and views but also the quality of your videos and I was impressed how suddenly your channel started to grow so fast. I guess it really was a good decision to not just limitate yourself to GTA Online but also other games. What I also like about you is that you don't give that much about what others might think, those stupid guys on the game and on the internet. You don't play with an expensive unnecessary gaming setup like a lot of those jerks here on KZfaq, you're just streaming right out of that living room relaxed armchair. It's good to see that there are still people in Online gaming who just want to play the game and have a good time without taking the game too seriously if you know what I mean. Your dedication to the game and the community really is admirable, you can really see how much time you are putting into all this and the guys here know that! Because of all those things I wanted to say that I'm really happy for you that you've made it that far and will make it even further, you really do deserve it!

For everyone on PC, I think the list goes like this: 1. Cheaters 2. Cheaters 3. Cheaters 4. Cheaters 5. Modders (also known as cheaters) There are cheaters in at least 50% of lobbies and that's not even an exaggeration. Everyone's walking around at level 8000, instantly identifiable as having cheated just numerically, and Rockstar still doesn't care enough to ban them. You know what they do do? Put like a 15 minute cooldown on reporting people so you can't report them all. I have never seen an online game do so much to stop people from reporting cheaters as Grand Theft Auto Online.

One time on pc a modder told the whole server my ip address and I took screenshots and sent it to Rockstar with a support ticket and they didn't do anything. The guy just said sorry to hear this is happening to you but he didn't do anything he didn't mention anything about the modder and I gave him there username. Rockstar is literally the worst. They can't even take care of there own game they should give it to someone who actually knows what there doing and can fix bugs, modding, and greifing. Greifing and modding on pc is so bad that I have to use a vpn but even with a vpn I still experience glitches.

i never have problems with the mk2 in my lobbies. you could always get an explosive rounds shotgun or sniper and instantly shred a mk2 user if you want

Hi professional, ive been following you and love your videos. I wanted to get your opinion, im an older guy at 48 years old, I love gta 5 and have been playing it for almost a year now so I'm kinda new but befor you judge me on what I'm about to say just know I love to grind but I have recently went to boosting , im not very good at war games but I can fight the bad guys in the game very well and love it...but now n days its nothing more then a war zone. I hardly ever get to sell, its got to be an empty lobby to get anything accomplished. I spend most my time in the casino and its like a war going on outside, all you see is so n so killed so n so all over the place. So at first I did the shark card rip off untill I found the getting boosted method because you get more money for less money, I can honestly say its helped me because I would have quit a long time ago if it wasn't for boosting, but now I have the things I want so it dont anger me when I get my cargo blown up and can continue gringing which I love to do when I can. I just feel the game is a money grab now, the game lights you up to the whole lobby and Rockstar basically tells everyone to kill you for money n rp, I find that to be a shark card scam and I try to make friends but it dont seem to work anymore that well , all people want to do is kill each other so I play by myself, ive never had anyone reach out to help or ask for help. I just feel like if Rockstar would make the grefer lose as much as they cost people then maybe people would work together instead of just killing each other...idk. but its getting out of control, myself I always try to help or stay to myself, I dont believe in blowing up people's product or killing someone for no reason. I just feel like the greater that do that suck at war craft so they come to gta because its easier to kill people that are forced on grinding , I just feel Rockstar could do something , they don't want you to cheat but then promote people to destroy your money so you have to get shark cards its horrible...sorry this was so long n drug out but give me some of that professional advice that we all love so much...ty and keep on rockin

The biggest issue imo is that you shouldn't have to pay 10k+ insurance for simply defending yourself, or for having a mutual for fun pvp match with friends. My suggestion is to make it that you dont have to pay insurance for destroying vehicles from aggressors, and the ability to invite friends to a "casual battle" that will last for a few minutes, where insurance wont be paid for.

I actually like the military and futuristic stuff like scramjet,its actually pretty fun. The problem is that literally almost all of these vehicles needs to have rockets. The opressor mk2 would not be op if it just didn't have the rockets

Modding in PC seems to get worse every week. When I started playing by the middle of this year, I had never countered a single cheater. Today? I literally encounter a modder in every single session. At least one. It's reaching a point where my friend hooked me up with his modder friend, so whenever we are being harassed by some idiot with godmode, he comes and gets rid of the griefing modder. I wish I was joking.

At the end of the video, we all kinda saw that coming. Every GTA turns into a sci fi game after a while because of the game becoming older, and Rock* wants people to constantly play, so they add in new technologies in order to make the game ''fun, but it turns into an annoyance for most players. I cannot blame Rock* at all for this, I blame the mentality of people for it. People want things to be constantly new, but when something like a vehicle comes out, that looks a lot like a vehicle from an update before it, then ''the game sucks'' because we constantly want to see everything new. People should keep in mind that GTAV is a game that came out around 2013, and the engine now is outdated. The game has to run everything in the background constantly, and it's having a hard time doing it. People are complaining about server issues for example, but it makes sense that their servers keep dying. World of Warcraft for example, is a game that is much much older, and also has a big playerpool, but the difference between that and GTAV, is that GTAV wasn't made to be on a PC, it's a console game for Xbox 360 and PS3 and it's like people are forgeting about it or something. I do agree with the fact that, if they do add new content in, that it's Rock*'s fault of this entire problem of people not liking their content. If your playerbase/fanbase whatever, asks you to create new content, and the majority wants, let's say an example a new mode, then don't add in a clown mask with just 2 colors and call it a day. Listen to your players, ask them what they love about the game, what they want to see, ask them questions, and pick the most logical move instead of just looking the other way and create whatever because you can! That Titan glitch that the Pro here mentioned, is indeed very game breaking, and not fixing that, or at least trying to fix and talk about it, is basically creating a business that is useless! So Rock*, you want me to play your game? Okay. You want me to earn the money to buy your other content, which is a business? Okay. But, when a glitch like that happens, how can I then even use that business? I can't. What's the point of buying it then if it has issues? Players will walk away from your game, and play something else! It's stupid, and should be a priority 1#. Get that in your thick money skull for a chance.

GTA online is extremely difficult for casual gamers who enjoy spending their free time every once in a while trying to have fun. In the beginning when GTA online was true to its core it was fun. Now it doesn’t really have a unifying theme anymore and let’s face it - It’s not fun getting blown up all the time by other players that you’re supposed to be enjoying the game with. If you do try to make friends you waste all your ammo trying to protect them from Griefers if you play alone you’re not gonna be able to get anything done because of Griefers either way the game is ruined because of Griefers. Usually I’m more satisfied playing something like Cities: Skylines then GTA online... it’s just too frustrating, And no longer enjoyable. You’re supposed to get addicted to video games via the dopamine; a cortisol rush is not what gamers are looking for.

Yeah, just starting out, online is already super overwhelming, even with the +$8M online starter pack there is just so fricken much that when you have these tardy twats on their over powered digital penile extensions flying around the map blowing you up over and over for no other reason than to keep blood flowing through their power source, it isn't very fun.

About every day I have to deal with cheaters. Yesterday some jerk was spamming water hydrants and throwing me up in the air and the second I stood up it just flew me up again. I died twice from the fall damage and I had to get all the way to my apartment. It was ridiculous.

Try doing the blimp advertising club mission in a full lobby, that would be fun wouldn’t it........? I’d love to see rockstar employees actually trying to play the game and see how long it takes before they are greifed out and turn it off!

I was doing a bunch of old missions when they had X2 money and XP, that I never got around to doing, and with double money, I got $500...sure it was a vanilla mission, but still.

What I hate is how if you find a glitch to get inside an interior e.g. Franklin’s house, it will be patched in the next update, but there are money glitches that have been out for over 2 years.

Fun fact: it's actually R*'s choice to not catch modders & cheaters. I know this from being involved in the PC nodding community for a while (don't worry, I didn't ruin people's games or do anything like that, I just messed around in closed sessions with friends). It's so easy to detect modders executing abnormal scripts (code) that most mod menus have a feature to detect it really easily, and they don't even have access to all the data that R* does. If it's this easy and R* still isn't doing it, it has to be by choice.
