In the book it clearly states "He didn't even skid!" and that was on snow chasing at high speeds going up a back road. So all this fishtailing is BS.

The skidding wasn't intentional, it was the handling of the mod, which i'm not the creator of, plus the wet road altered the handling even more. Actually, it was a real nightmare to control.
