Vice City, 1984. Opportunity abounds in a city emerging from the swamps, its growth fueled by the violent power struggle in a lucrative drugs trade. Damn I love this game!! I will admit though...towards the end the gang attacks did feel rather intrusive and occurred too frequently. Still a gem though with some of the most creative story missions! 👌

Ah yes, this video reminded me how broken enemies were when they were doing drive-by with an SMG in this game. An entire clip unloaded with godlike precision in a fraction of a second.

Empire Building was the shit, it's literally the reason VCS stands out to me, aside from music and/or Vice City itself. Wish GTA Online's businesses were more in depth like these, where you could even get hired goons, gain respect in the business type, unique rewards and more. Not just some delivery boy on each business I OWN.

Agreed, the MC businesses, the Bunker and the Nightclub should be sth like this, not Just some UPS Driver doing Amazon Prime Delivery and driving a slowass van that has a top speed of 10 Mph

To be fair Vic in vcs still had to do the dirty work while goons sat around and didn't do very much and some of the empire building missions were quite boring in my opinion.

I always tried to locate businesses in places that seemed suitable to the area it was located. on some I always tried to diversify the level of the business too, some I would leave as 1 level and other 2 or 3. This is better than V online empire building..

1:20:27 I would rather recommend using sniper rifle on every robbery mission to shoot the drivers' head off at an undetected distance and retrieve the money or get on securicars without going pay n' spray to repair vehicle damage. If so, you don't have to worry about having trouble steering due to punctured tires, plus nothing to worry about chasing after the enemies.

Some people even rated this game low because of how much they hated vic being sucked into drugs when he said he won't. I mean rockstar accurately represented real life realities well and i don't think this is a reason for the game to be hated. It's quite the opposite. Vic is human.

In this game, when conquering and managing business, you feel like Tony Montana... very powerful. Something that while supposedly "improved" in VC with the acquisition of larger businesses, VCS surpasses it and took it to another level.

Milton, you want to talk about wannabes? My buddy actually called me up one night asking for advice on empire building. Apparently, he was trying to get through the game by just taking over the Cholo businesses. I told him flat out that his strategy was flawed and told him to read the last line on the back of the PS2 game case. You know the part that says, "Build an empire or be crushed." He got the hint and called me back a few days later to say thank you.

@@antoniosessa6521 the street wannabes are mendez's gang I called them that because of their street clothing and they're considered the toughest gang in the game i tried to take over the empires at the very beginning of the game right after killing Marty and honestly first time it was frustrating because they either retaliate and try to take over your empires or try to kill you and they did kill me a bunch of times after almost trying to take over the 30th empire next to the north point mall and after that the game spawned me back to the first island then I tried to do it a second time and it was easy because most of them were on sale

The Sharks are the toughest to take businesses from, because they tend toward the "high-roller" option on their sites, and are relentless in their retaliatory tactics. However, I've found that simply saving and reloading the game will wipe your "gang noteriety" and make it somewhat easier. As you correctly noted, there are times when the game will "throw you a bone" and randomly put a site up for sale. However, I've also been able to observe and capitalize on the animosity that the "NPC gangs" have for each other as well.
