Funny how people call the GTA trailer CGI while most of the Cyberpunk trailers including the one who announced the game back in 2012 was cg before the developement even began

I can't believe that there are still those illiterate people existing who are saying that you are comparing in-game to cinematic trailer. They don't know even till now that Rockstar Games is the company who haven't ever fooled their audience with pre-rendered trailers made with another software. Everything you see in their trailers is in-game footage and when the game releases, it has even better visuals and mechanics than the trailer.

They haven't experienced what we experienced just yet lol, people think CDPR was untouchable until this, and many other companies during it's prime, these kids are in for absolute harsh truth when it turns out differently, i already learned the hard truth, these companies aren't your friend and never will be, their primary objective is to get profit and they'll do it no matter what, it's a 50/50 chance the GTA 6 trailer might be pre-rendered or not.

@@AhmadWahelsa It's not bro, there is no 50/50, one shot could be pre-rendered that is the one where Lucia is sitting on top of Jason, but the rest are all in-game footage. It's not hard to tell. Take-Two isn't our friend, but Rockstar sure are. They have passion and love for their craft. I don't give two shits about the corporates who own them. I trust the developers actually working on the game

@@noahjock you realise that the cinematics are from the ingame engine only right? And you can tell for cyberpunk that it is not exactly what was shown in its trailers but looking at the history of rockstar trailers they have never lied to their players about their capabilities. Just compare RDR2 with Cyberpunk and you'll see that it's not the release time of the game but the pure dedication of the developers to deliver what their players want.

@@zhongxina9420 the fact that it runs on the game engine doesn’t mean it’s in-game footages : all these images were traveling shots that you will only get with a cinematic tool within the game maybe (seems enhanced tho), or a full animation made with the game engine - but this isn’t actual in-game images nor gameplay

Great video! Just what I was looking for. The best part is that GTA VI isn't even finished yet, so to know it matches or possibly surpasses Cyberpunk already, in ways, is a great thing. Even as good as Cyberpunk was when it came out, it didn't even come close to the update, and the lastest update takes it even further. So GTA VI looking great, not even out yet, is awesome because when it comes out, it will look better and still won't look as good as it's going to get after updates, so we're in for a treat.

To put salt on the wound, it is commonly known that Rockstar's game releases usually look way better and optimized than their trailer counterparts and that is because they are still in development. Example: RDR2 1st trailer (stunning but had some subtle rendering issues on trees) vs game release 2 years later (fully optimized looks even better somehow) Talk about a company delivering without false advertising. and yes, Rockstar uses in-game engine footage

You need to be able to compare the action rpg storygame with the CGI trailer of an unreleased game. GTA fanatics are clowns. Rockstar is a greedy studio that can't offer anything new. After the release of GTA, the hype will settle down and everyone will forget about this empty game, and the Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 will forever be remembered by the people who played them. A well-thought-out plot, hand-written quests, memorable characters - all this GTA cannot offer

Again... they only compare mostly graphics and physics... granted that physics WAS ALWYAS something that Rockstar does well, the ENGINE is build around physics simulation, now let us see about, destructible enviroments? How's the combat? The gameplay will be like what? There will be any type of gore? Or the game would be just like GTA 5? Will GTA 6 be woke garbage? ANother point here, is that is kind pointless compare a finished product with a trailer (wich is a very curated piece of media). Another point is that CDPR isn't even making more games on Red Engine despite the technical marvel they did with Cyberpunk, now they are switching to UE5 wich is more than competition to R* engine, wich means that most of this comparisons worth nothing until bothe GTA 6 and Cyberpunk sequel come out.

Who cares, I don't care. I loved Cyberpunk, the best looking game with Path Tracing period. GTA 6 will be better? I think so. I will enjoy it, why it has to be a competition? I loved GTA games since GTA 1 and I grew up on them but I've never really played Cyberpunk for experience a "new GTA". I played it because it gave me the choice to play as I want, stealth, hacking, gun blazing etc. different game. I don't hate game "just because" and especially not until I tried.

Theres alot more things to consider when comparing games.. like story, characters, immersion, etc. GTA 6 looks pretty generic, without a own soul. You could also market it as the new Saints Row or the new Gansta Simulator and people would believe it.

Hmmm that is very interesting. And very rich. The gta 6 trailer has over 130 million views, with all the tired, annoyed, long time fans now being completely satisfied. The 10 year wait was worth it after seeing these amazing results. Just the trailer is packed with detail, humor, and emotion that Saints Row (where the new installment fell flat) can't even hold a candle to. No, you couldn't market this as anything else, we can tell this is GTA, rockstar's amazing work.

GTA is the precursor of open worlds but it is an ordinary open world. Which represents an open world that is based on the most boring things the real world has to offer. And it's like that in every GTA. Compare GTA to the various open world games and accept that they seem very empty compared to recent years. GTA remains a good game only because it comes out every few decades more or less.

Much more detail was added to the characters' clothes, like Franklin's blue shirt, which was plain, strange and lifeless in the trailers. The draw distance has been increased and the quality of LOD objects has been improved. Problems with props (objects on the map) were fixed, where they disappeared at a shorter distance from the player.
