Some things that might be useful for some people strugling with 100%: - As it says here in the video, cheats do not prevent you to get 100% - Also, it's false that you have to complete Dirt Ring under 5 minutes to get 100% (I did it in 10 minutes and still got the trophy). - It's important to get 1st place in Hotring. That gave me the 1% I was lacking, after doing everything else. - Don't forget to buy the Skumole Shack! It's located above the Howlin' Petes Biker Emporium. To me, it's not an easy safehouse to spot. But once I bought it, got the 100% trophy and the platinum :) Hope this helps :D

Out of the GTA titles I feel that Vice city is the one which could've been a lot better. I understand that the specifications of that time didn't allow them, and that's why I hope Rockstar someday releases and expanded GTA VC, or a mind-blowing GTA VC, GTA 3 and GTA SA combo where all 3 maps a bigger and all 3 exist in the same universe like different cities. Imagine Tommy, CJ and Claude facing off against each other for the control of all 3 cities (us choosing to play as one of them)

A tip to those who are on 99%.. i found out i had done "everything".. Then i went to the shooting range and got 45 points and boom achievement! Easy way to find out if you got this done or not is to equip the rocket launcher and see if it shoots fast or not:) hope this helps cause it did for me:D

This game had the best driving, the best flying for helis and planes, the best trophies, and the best sfx for guns, kills and pickups

I find it funny how years ago some of my school buddies thought I was lying to them when I told them about the bodyguards and 200 health and armor after beating the game without cheats. They also didn't believe I beat the game without cheating lol. The hidden packages were probably the hardest thing to achieve in the game once you reached 98. This was also nearly impossible if you ever had a moody mother that complained and bitched about everything at the last minute, waiting until you started to sit down to play games to finally bitch about chores etc. I felt like my mother just enjoyed being hated most of the time when I was growing up. Anyways.. This video brings back a lot of memories lol

I remember getting 99% completion, and searching for one last hidden package. I went through all the package locations twice, but nothing.

This was the most hardest and time consuming 100 precent completion I’ve ever done.

I remember playing this on PC. It was a new experience for me since I played it mostly on my PS2. I was so close to 100% I could taste it... except, I missed one stunt jump. And I could've sworn I did every stunt jump but the stats says 23 out of 24. Then the screen on my PC fell apart and broke... great. All of my hard work is down the tubes, and I will never forget about it.

Interesting little detail: umberto robina's missions are not storyline missions. They are side missions. It is possible to "finish" vice city (ie unlock and beat "keep your friends close") without even touching the cuban missions the love fist missions etc.

Hello there to the 99% Progress Pips.... If you don't know where that 1%, here's my tip.... You know the Ammu Nation near in the Stadium? there was a Shooting Range Side Mission there, where you first encounter it in Phillips mission where you need to defeat his Score..... There you just need to Obtain 45points just to finish the Progress, it's not included here in the Orig. But I saw it in the Definitive Edition..... And thank G I got both SAN ANDREAS & this VICE CITY 100% Progress

4 years ago i did 100 percent game and i was shocked because i got message that i unlocked the new outfit at tommy mansion then i went to checked it and yes i got it and looks like casual outfit but little different and after used that outfit i went to tv room and saw pink sign with my gangs sat in front of tv and when i near the pink sign i was shocked the gangs suddenly followed me and then i let them followed me,when i got attacked by someone my gangs helped me by shooted the attacker and i was liked "oh GOD this is amazing,finally i can fight with those haitian gangs bastard by using my bodyguards!!!!"

you need to compelete only all story line missions and assets missions,, after that A phone call from lance comes,, you should go to vercetti estate for finnal mission... I completed the game just now...

I have done literally every single thing needed, still kept in 99%, came to this video to see what I still haven't done and saw in the comment section that I'm not alone. I think this is because of the glitch in the off-road side missions.
