He'll discuss the roadmap for OctaneRender and The Render Network, the industry’s first blockchain-distributed GPU rendering network and 3D marketplace. Jules will also detail how the future of media lies in holographic, AI, light field technologies, and real-time rendering, and how OTOY is working to help drive that future through OctaneRender, Brigade, and The Render Network.

This is the future of rendering and yet another example of our own reality being a quantum process, simulated, rendered.. This, splats + Sora have blown my mind recently.... Cannot wait to connect with Jules on this.

Headless / network rendering access for tablets would be an awesome feature. I don't think this is possible currently. At least not on the iPad.

I agree, once we figure out how to make it more controllable, which of-course will happen. I don't see any point at all with 3d modelling etc. I don't think it will take that long either, from what I can read about new development in upcoming control of generative AI. On the other hand, once we get AGI everything will change.

what makes you think that OTOY wont adapt to the future changes..right now Octane is paying the bills. If anyone knows GPU technology..they do. Stable diffusion and Meta and Open AI will all have API for "generative" Models for 3d production... if any company is poised to participate in GPU technology in the future is OTOY..

Ai hasn't gotten video right yet which is what studios use octane for, deepfakes are associated with p*rn and ai image companies are currently in multiple lawsuits, a class action with indie visual artists and a trillion dollar suit with Getty Images for their problematic datasets and the models trained on those data sets. Even if you don't care about that in the US AI generated content cannot be copyrighted and has no legal protection. Italy has already banned AI and the EU is moving to do the same. He's the CEO of a company not a hobbyist or hustler he can't jump on every industry trend. Web3/Crypto was also 'the future' and it still is lol. The thing about that is no one knows when the future will arrive.

ANTI-AI. Anyone can type a prompt. It take a skilled artist to create with 3D.
