Such an incredible blend of outstanding driving and phenomenal engineering , that was a treat to watch. It will always be my tied favourite rally car (admittedly the 97 and 98 version, tied with the Evo 6, this is 3rd though)

90s and early 00s was truly the golden age of rallying, so many incredible drivers, amazing competition. The Loeb came along and blew everyone away, no doubt he is the GOAT but the WRC got boring due to lack of competition.

shit, I am in such a project now. i have the 1999rs 2 door with the 99 sti engine,trainsmission,diff transplanted. Just got 4/2 pots from canada(great shit) bought tein suspension flex z, advan golds 17", buying the fuel rail and injectors..im going hard on this one..throw back to colin(fuck yeah Mcrae)

And what`s the difference ?It never had 360 hp and semi-automatic transmission, that's for sure but i don`t catch difference between 4x4 and AWD cause it’s one and the same isn`t it?

@@Mr_Twister77 AWD is permanent all-wheel drive, the system operates on both axes at all times. In 4x4 cars, all-wheel drive is a feature, usually you press it with a button. When not, the car behaves like a 4x2.

@@IgorFonseca244 The term 4x4 simply indicates a transmission that deliver torque on 4 wheels out of 4. The term does NOT indicate if this it's permanent, or activated by manual or automatic system. In recent times, the term AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) is used to indicate permanent transmission on all wheels (although this is a meaning used on North America market). So, a car AWD is ALSO a 4x4.

@@IgorFonseca244 Agree with Tufo here. 4x4 is just a term used to inform how many wheels are driven. Theres also 6x6 and even 6x4 which means 4 are driven and 2 are not mostly seen on trucks and forestry machinery. If you really want to be picky, subaru has named their system Symmetrical All Wheel Drive, because it is symmetrical. A system quite similar is Audis true quattro which is also symmetrical and transfer power in the same manner but with differences in terms of differentials and ect.

No. I only noticed that you need a new set of glasses. 😂 The co-driver is clearly visible. Is only seat lower than the driver, to keep weight down, and because his role do not require the same visibility of the driver (the co-driver is normally head-down, reading the notes).
