Hey hey! I hope this gives any one of you some inspo on another way to create a task management system in ClickUp! Have you read Getting Things Done yet? 📚

I have been using the GTD methodology for more than 8 years using various frameworks, and I just found this implementation with clickup that seems spectacular to me. Very well explained. Thanks you for sharing!!!. I hope to see in new entries some things that are missed like the perspective levels, next actions and context management

Thanks so much for the kind words! Ah yes you could easily add the extras, like for example subtasks in clickup could be used to set next actions! :)

I like de way you explain things. Rigth amount of time. Simple, to the point and with useful examples. I have been trying to document myself to implement a GTD method using clickup. And learning how to use clickup as a planner an organizing tool. Your videos where the ones I found where more usefull. The other ones where Toooo Long, Boooring and confusing.

Happy to hear that my explanation was made sense 🙂 Lots of luck on your GTD implementation with ClickUp!

Thank you for making this video! I wanted to try it out but was overwhelmed at trying to figure out how to use it with GTD.

Thanks so much for the kind comment Amy! It can get quite overwhelming to figure out how to create a proper system using the GTD method so I feel you!

I absolutely love this. Thanks so much for clarifying this. One question though..I'm a big fan of Atomic Habits and focusing more on routines and habits than systems...but I want to do some GTD as well. How can I merge the two methods/concepts?

Hey Ana, thank you for this step by step tutorial. It is really helpful. Even though I am quite overwhelmed setting up my account. I know your not their tech support but I have a question you eventually can help me with. I have followed step by step what you are doing. For some reason I can't use the little + button on the right side of 'Inbox' to add the columns - like clarify etc. Any idea why? In the categories below it is possible. Thank you very much

I have never had this issue myself, have you tried refreshing the page? If that doesn't help, contact ClickUp chat support (they have been super helpful in my experience!) Hope this helps :)

So where is the "Next Actions" in this system? and Areas of Focus/horizons? How would you implement them?
