Love, love, love this! I've been trying to do GTD for years but I can't get past the contexts (because of my perfectionism) so this will help so much! I love how you have the (P) to show a task is part of a project. And the asterisk for something that's a priority. Great ideas! I'll look forward to future videos!

Came here from Brandy Michelle Plans. Loved the video and subscribed. Will be adding your shop to my list of sources to consider for my 2021 setup. I love the style and functionality of your inserts. In either “Making It All Work” or the updated edition of GTD, David had some content addressing some of the cognitive science that supports the system. A video on your take given your profession would be interesting.

I bought and read GTD two years ago after watching the series Brandy Michelle created. I started in Filofax, experienced discs, TNs, and finally all sizes Stalogy. Recently, I decided to reread GTD and buckle down, which led me back to rings in August. Love the Gillio by the way🥰

Thank you so much for creating these templates and this video. I have been trying GTD for a few years now and never seem to stick with it beyond a few days. After my anxiety getting out of control by the end of 2020 and thinking of changes to make, I decided that maybe I need to go all analog for most things. But it never made sense for GTD because i was thinking about a notepad where pages are stationary and can not be moved around. That was until I saw this video and the lightbulb went off. I downloaded several of your templates and I now have a system that works for me and I am sticking to. I need everything in one place and not scatterred across several apps. This binder I use does just that; it creates the flexibility I need to make it work on paper. I still need my digital calendar for work and reminders, but having all of these lists in one place is just what I need. Thanks again and you do great work.

Hi, Amanda--This is 1st time I've watched one of your videos, and I am so impressed with the common sense and functionality of GTD and your iteration of it! It also explains some references in some other videos I've seen. I am a fellow lifelong perfectionism & procrastination sufferer (lol), and am having difficulty opening my planner these days. I think I need to read David Allen's book(s) and rethink my planner system! Or would that be procrastination (haha)? I ♥️ this video; can't wait to watch your other ones. I am a new subscriber! 👍

Love your set up so much better than the current one I’m using now! I was looking at your website at the bundle, but does it not include the cover page shown on timestamp 4:01? That is the one thing I REALLY LIKE about your system is the explanation on that GTD Cover Page. Is there a way to include that with the bundle 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🫶🏼 Thanks so much!

I love this video and it got me thinking how I can incorporate the full GTD method into my current system instead of only sporadically using some parts of it. I’m now wondering how I could use this in a bound book. Thanks for the triggers!

I would love to use to get more into GTD, however I am having issues just taking the steps to start it. I am also a broke perfectionist, and need to find a way to track this. I would love do a tickler file like I had when I worked in the states. However, filing boxes, hanging files, etc, is not readily available or used much in Denmark. They seem to put everything into binders. I do not want to lug around a binder. So I am trying to draw out something in a grid notebook I have lying around not being used. I spent all my money on Hobonichi calendars and covers, and well inserts do not work with bound books much. I do not want to print onto sticker paper and insert it into my calendar. I may at the beginning of the month give up on drawing things because I cannot get it started because of perfectionism and just order something off Etsy and make my own small bound book. We will see.

Old video but I’m just getting into the method. I’m confused about how to implement the project lists and tasks. Are we supposed to use the project list separately from the next action list? Or add the smaller bits from the project list to the next action list? I’m so confused! Ps I found your inserts via plan with bee video. I haven’t bought them “yet” but it is on my next action list 😂
@PattyGardner1704 жыл бұрын
I forgot to say that I like highlighting my completed tasks as well. It makes it really easy to see what’s left. I’ve done that forever! I have a question. Why did you put talking points in reference instead of next actions? Just curious.
@perfectionismprints85844 жыл бұрын
You know, it actually makes a lot more sense to put in under next actions 🤦🏼♀️. Lol I’m going to change it! Thanks!

I placed my talking points into references as P/P showed for questions to ask re: major home purchase. It was easy for me to go to the designated page for Furnace as there were price estimate comparisons; financing variable discussions with several companies. Thank you PerfectionismPrints.

Thanks for the informative video! I do have a question related to the bundle in your Etsy store: the line spacing (for example in the next list) seems much smaller than the one in your Etsy store. Does it come in different versions or does the one from the Etsy store differ from the one in the video? I’m asking because I’d prefer the smaller line spacing as seen in the video.
@RyuguPrincess3 жыл бұрын
I just checked again and wondered if it has to do with the layout differences of the different sizes. I’m interested in the pocket size.

Hi Kepi, the earlier inserts I made had slightly lighter lines, so that may be the difference you are noticing. Make sure you are printing on normal or best quality (not draft) using Adobe Reader. Try cleaning your print head (there is a setting on most inkjet printers for this). If still having problems, message me on Etsy for more guidance. 🙂
