That -- was outstanding. I agree with Chis, awesome halftime show. I did bend my axles on purpose, just to see if it could pick-up some speed ... and better drifting. Now we can all see how that worked. That truck ran fast on my track, but I knew that it was going to be a wild ride. Thank you Mark, I love getting the chance to race on your track. 🍺🍺🤩😎🍺🍺

Camber and toe-in adjustments may work more reliably at the scale of Pinewood Derby racing. With how demanding this course is on any vehicle I would hesitate to add yet another variable to a build. Easy for me to say from the cushy grandstand seats no matter how respectful my intent is.

You're welcome! Here is my observation. It looked like you applied some positive camber, and it does help with the drifting. Trust me. What happened to your truck during one of the races was the front left tire got cambered more! Because the camber left to right was uneven, it stopped drifting. I know camber works because Josh's truck over at Rust Belt customs wasn't drifting until i added a smidge of camber. Now, im not gonna go thru every truck and start bending everyone's axles, but it did readjust the camber on yours before the Sudden Death. It went from pulling left to going straight, but not drifting. Bummer. Again, the lesson is positive camber works, just not too much, and it must be the same amount left to right. Sorry for the unfortunate mechanical issue.

@@gravitythrottleracing deeply appreciate the perspective from you on this! I have precisely no clue how camber settings could be made consistent here when combined with some form of suspension. Were the axles immobilized then such a technique would make far more sense to this mere observer Guess some _Secrets Of The Numbskull_ must remain mysteries to me 😅

What a wild round of racing!! The drivers had a hard time staying on their wheels. Congrats to the drivers moving on and great job by all the builders.

I knew when I saw this lineup, it would be epic! I underestimated! The crashes alone were epic. R-Lo going over the corner! Trucks getting air in the snow! The racing was also off the hook, with a race off! What a great show, great racing, GTR never disappoints! Great job all around! Really looking forward to, and a bit anxious about the next race!!!

I can't say enough good about this episode 🥳🎊 Usually it's the penultimate 7th lap with the most excitement but here the events of the final lap determined a tie that needed resolution-- _yay, more racing!_ Best halftime show yet! The runway 3 camera perfectly captured what we wanted to see! Close misses AND a couple of strikes! 💯😎🏁

Dang dude! What a race! Picking someone to win was tough. These guys were for the most part dead even, until after Dusty took off. I loved that last race especially. Quality time used!!

This group was pushing the limits all 8 laps+ Thankfull to be making it though to the semis agains some tough competition.

This is definitely one of the most fun tracks to watch you never know whats going to happen. And again this race did not disappoint. A nail bitter to the end!! Also the best halftime show out there.

That was a wild final race with a ruthless move by Dusty Miles shoving R-Lo off the track - I've not seen a car fly off there before, more often they get stalled!

The races keep getting better every time, competition was fierce and you really couldn’t pick a clear winner until race 6 with Dusty Miles. It came down to a sudden death race that R-LO wound up winning. On to QF #3

I think you got gremlins, Mark. The WW2/Bugs Bunny-style gremlins, not the just-add-water kind. The Shavano-Nos? The GTRascals? Whatever they're called, they made for an entertaining yet perplexing race. :)

It didn't happen this time, but if any of the HMB guys are toppled by a marble without there being a strike, that's +2.

Any problem with the track causing a DNF should be an automatic re-run of the race to ensure fairness to all drivers.
