can you test Rx 5600 xt vs rx 6600 in 1080p and 1440p with competitive setting??

this would be an interesting comparison as both cards are similar in raw performance with rx 6600 being slightly better but in games which prefer a newer architecture like Alan Wake 2(mesh shader requirement) the rx 6600 will be noticeably faster.

Msi afterburner incorrectly reports the power consumption of AMD Rx5000 and 6000 series cards. It only reports the gpu power draw not the total gpu + board draw. You should add about 30-40 watts to the reported value to come up with the real power draw of the card.

@@NJTechBenchmark that site doesn't have a report with proof of what it claims, it's purely speculative. Do the test yourself by measuring the electrical consumption from the power supply plug and you'll see that by subtracting the consumption of the other components of the PC, you'll obtain a consumption very close to that shown by Afterburner for both the RX6000 and the RTX3000.

Vega 56 is Better but lack of drivers optimization I would suggest GTX 1660 Super.

Here in Europe I saw 1660 super for 80-90 euro while 6600 is at least 120 and more, yeah its better but for 80-90 1660 super is not a bad option even that or 1070 for same price sometimes there are 1070s for 60-70 euros.

@@minhhieunguyen8096 Yeah if someone has for example rx 470 and he wants to upgrade but doesn't have a lot of money why buy 1070 when he can overpay for 4060 brand new. 😂 More than 300 euros for card with 8gb vram in year 2024.

@@e3nnsar I think Nvidia original plan is 1660 and 1660Ti. But then AMD release RX 5600XT at the same price to 1660Ti and out perform it (5600XT on par 2060). so Nvidia have to release Super version to counter AMD so there are 1650S, 1660S, 2060S, 2070S, 2080S release later. GTX 1660Super sell as the same price as GTX 1660 and if you look at static according to steam hardware survey it seem like 1660S is a replacement of 1660/1660Ti also in second hand GPU market I think you could find 1660S in bigger quantity than 1660/1660Ti.
