I love what the soon to be ex-wife did. She cancelled the lease on the mistress apartment, gave her 3 days to leave, but it was the slap that she gave her. That slap woke her all the way up.

I could really appreciate the character of the soon-to-be ex-wife in this scene because she shows how efficient she really could be if she wanted to deal with the mistress in the first place. In a way, she was merciful because she could have told her that the lease was cancelled with immediate effect and she had to leave, but she didn't. She gave her three days to find different accommodation that was not associated with her husband or family.

When he said this to his mother, it rocked me. That line alone comes from great observation of children from the and present. He has a good instinct of how to keep the family together. Now it is up to the father to get his mind together and realize his wife is in his corner.

One day, when the kid's older, he will regret saying this to his mom. When he understand the whole situation, he will want his mom to leave his dad, leave the toxic relationship, find her happiness.. Staying in that kind of relationship is kind a hell for his mom..

it touched me too but if the marriage is beyond saving I'd rather leave than my son seeing the ugliness of it. the child will grow up and they will understand rather than them growing up in a toxic family.

That line in the script is raw and so true. The issue of infidelity is always between the married couple I believe. Never mind who the 3rd party is. Like she said in the bedroom scene where she said for them to divorce, "...you were unhappy in this marriage and this affair was how you expressed it." Best line in this whole drama which was well played out by each actor/actress.

I just love the fact that the mistress loses in the end, usually they end up with the cheating husband. Would have been great if they had shown the mistress reaction when she knows that not only she doesn't get that jerk husband but she also caused him to go jail

Someone to love her wholeheartedly and one who would never cheat on her would be great, but She can also just stay single. Devote her life to her son and her passions if that is what makes her happy. If i remember correctly, the husband started cheating because his ego could not handle that she was waaayyy more capaple than him. He was not capable enough, honest enough and strong enough to handle that situation. And the mistress was the ego booster that pampered his sad excuse of masculinity. In the end karma did got to him, sad for the son, who has a father like him who cheated and went to jail. But then again his mom is rock solid. I dont remember what happened to the mistress, but i do think sh deserves to marry a another guy who will also cheat on her. Eye for an eye thing. So i hope she finds one that looks perfect on the outside but one who is a cheater too... she how she handles that.
