They are all so disgustingly self-centered, I hope they all end up broke and in the gutter. Anything any of them says about how they are sorry that they screwed over Wu Tong is so shallow and phony.

LeeZM had a strong sense of insecurity in love. He didn't know exactly how love meant to him. He was selfish to hate cheating and betrayal. He was indulged in his ego was deeply hurt. So he cut off all ties with Wu Tong, including their child. Although he took up the charge of car crash from Wu Tong, he still spoke to her in harsh wordings. Showing he did this only for the children, not for his love as he would never love her. LeeZM's character was incapable to express love. His assistant was the one elaborating his character that he couldn't accept any small defects in the relationship. He'd rather give up. He was so fragile in emotion and not brave enough to stand by challenge. Anyone got along with a person of such character would suffer a lot.

Well, the male lead ruthlessly taking the female lead’s child away puts him squarely in the AH category himself. That and the fact that when he mistrusts he is abusive towards her.

And this recognizes the great pain they both caused to Wu Tong how? She was given such pain by the two brothers and MIL and yet they just sit around, or think of the company. I really hope they all end in the gutter.

Boohoo. The men are so sad about the consequence of their own actions. The two male leads finally got their beads out of their rear ends and realized they were both being AHs and caused so much harm (emotionally and otherwise) to our female lead.

But how vastly we improve our style when we've practiced for awhile.

He didn't have an ounce of trust in his wife's character so he is more guilty than his brother. He believed everything that was shown to him but found it difficult to believe wu tong when she pleaded him to believe her. The father in law understood her much better during their short interaction than the husband

No-)8: pregnant wife is gone because of how he chose to react to the lies. He chose to be abusive and refused to even talk to her, and almost hit her with his car, knowing she is pregnant. And basically banished her from their son’s life (which also makes him a bad father in addition to a bad husband) She now knows exactly what kind of man he is-one who will not listen or trust and who escalates immediately to verbal (and maybe physical) abuse. She needs to GTFO and away from him.

Still if u put yourself in Mr lee's shoes, it's hard not to believe that those photos are not real. Again, the one who set it up admitted the incident. Everyone would believe it. But to be honest, Jerry Yan does his acting professionally.

It was LeeZM's character that he never accepted his wife at all those evidence. Wu Tong simply said the photos were untrue but she couldn't prove either. The pregnancy of another child made him more suspicious and angry. Very sad 😔 for the couple.

@@olgaagrela6955 LeeZM's mother hired an detective to follow XiangJun and Wu Tong, gathering evidence of their intimacy. Then proved to LeeZM, let him leave Wu Tong and agree to marry Miss Liang. XiangJun noticed they were being followed and arranged some intimate poses for exposure. The detective took some photos in the amusement park and around XiangJun's place. He then drugged Wu Tong, sent Tong Tong home, leaving Wu Tong staying in his place. He deliberately opened the curtain for the detective taking photos from outside windows. Therefore LeeZM's mother got the photos from the detective she hired.

And get I am certain he is going to expect forgiveness from her right away.

He was too egocentric to consider anyone's feelings but his own and he proved it time and time again. But if you look at his so-called family you can see he is a dyed-in-the-wool bastard that she should avoid at all costs in the future.

Exactly. He should have been made to confess to the police and been sent to jail . Instead his “ little “ mistake was glossed over and forgotten. And the vicious grandmother was just forgiven for all her vile actions .

This drama seemed not mentioning Wu Tong's parents after he divorced her. How would the Lees family paid regrets for their daughter. Only if Wu Tong was hospitalized, her parents came to inquire after her.

Sandra I agree with you 💯 on your assessment of WuTong personality, however I also believe there was addiction factors here. I believe she also felt torned and in the middle. Xiang Jun showed up for her and helped her to get visitation, when she had noone else would, regardless of Xiang jun motives for doing so he stepped in and assisted with her best friends husband business when Li Zhongmou dismissed the company...even employing her, then there was Li Zhongmou she had fell in love with him @ first sight, loved him regardless to what he did, he was the father of her son, to some degree she was between a rock and a hard place..one man she loved and had a child with and the other helped her to get visitation with her son but also help her with employment/ friend business so she felt grateful and obligated. Once she learned their were brothers and she married Li Zhongmou she believed Naively that she could help repair the relationship. Now that belief was asinine because she was in between two brothers who wanted her. Ego's,testerone got in the way. One brother wanted to control and @ times possess her and the other brother used her as a vessel to seek revenge for what he felt was done to his family in particular the death of his mother. Li Zhongmou robotic and @ times ruthless, detached type ways and reactions were a product of his upbringing and family dynamics which when he presented could be cold hearted. We all know family dynamics and child rearing can impact how one sees and move through this world 🌎 same in the tv drama world 🌎.

@@joannebaker4925 Again Wu Tong was cheated by XiangJun that he was willing to make peace. All she needed to do was to convince her husband to give way. She never thought of her dear friend would put her into trap.
