Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says it is "unacceptable" that his side had to play their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea just three days after going out of the Champions League, when the other three teams in teh competition didn't play in midweek.

The handball rule has never existed where if it strikes your arm and you block it it’s automatically a penalty. The previous rule was deliberate - after the introduction of VAR it was if your arm was stuck out. The fact Grealish was trying to tuck it in and move it towards his body is why it wasn’t given, by the time it hit him it was by his side - ergo not a clear and obvious error. And City are owned by the private wealth of one individual and an American consortium. The UAE state doesn’t have ownership over CFG. And they also rarely execute people and the only people executed in the last 30 years have been a handful of terrorists. Nice try though. Keep watching City 😂

Its understandable if hes only on about the schedule but 87% of all money goes out to players , agents and beneficiaries which isnt recycled back to the game... so higher wages = more revenue needed ... less games = wages but the players wont accept that. He is also at a club that has artificially inflated the market with its finances during the 11-19 period which means more revenue is needed

So what's your approaches for this? look at the number of games played by PL teams, those are massive. If you keep playing 2x per weeks it's almost impossible to maintain the level. It's crazy that city actually did the treble last year. FA didn't actually want their teams won in CL lol their scheduling didn't even help PL teams. Not only city, arsenal had it sometimes.

Souness Spot on as in 1980s, was Tougher 4 Moore/Maradona/Hoddle/Sir KennyD/Lineker/Shearer etc via 1- Nasty studs raked down back-legs causing bleeds & stitches & career ending infections (now vicious stud tackles from behind are banned) 2- 1 sub (vs 7 subs now) 3- 15 man squads (vs 30 internationals at ManC) 4- No air travel & overnight stay in luxury hotels ( Souness drove 6 hrs on a saturday morning to play West Ham or Ipswich or Norwich etc to play em at 3pm then drove another 6hrs to get to bed at midnight with aching limbs) 5- No on-site Drs ( Brian Cloughs career was ended at age 27 cuz it took several days to get an NHS appt - he was on-track to become Englands greatest goal scorer & was better at finishing than Harry Kane or Ian Rush etc) 6- They played on grassless ploughed fields with muddy puddles in autumn & ice rinks in winter. It took more skill to stay upright & walk, than playing full pace, on todays carpets. 7- Weather was colder & windier & wetter, in 1979 there no matches played in January due to non stop snow. 8- Violent fans used to beat up players if they played badly after hooligans got drunk when pubs opened at noon 9- They headed balls heavy as cannon balls which had been soaked in water & mud. .. It killed greats like England internationals Jeff Astle & Cyrille Regis in their 50's. Who Never got to play footy with thier teen grand kids. 99% of UK fans love Souness for surviving his heart attack mostly caused by injuries stress. 10- For Souness to dominate like he did was amazing ! He is a national treasure & should be in charge of a UK team to go to future world cups. Brazil has over 300 million citizens. How can Scotlands 5M compete with that. But we can compete with a UK combined population of 70M.

Yes, Pep was right about scheduling issue. No, Pep was wrong that FA is the one that should initiate the change. In La Liga, Real Madrid submitted request to move their match vs Real Sociedad, after their match vs Bayern was confirmed. So Pep was bullshitting that he got no time to submit change request. Man City is a big club, must have the admin personnel for these things.

He's 100% right, the faceless bureaucrats who decide the schedules have sabotaged our teams being successful in Europe and then ask City to play 3 days after an intense game against Madrid despite the 2 teams in the other semi having a week off. And also playing the semis at that sterile vacuum of a ground in that dead area of outer London. The semis should be played at atmospheric neutral venues like back in the day. That game today had all the feeling and atmosphere of an England friendly. The corporate suits running the game don't give a damn about it, just how they can market it to a bunch of sponsors and consumers and the fans are just peripheral background scenery.

I agree why Didn’t Utd play yesterday as they had no Europe & City play today. Strange decision. But now it gives his team an extra day now to prepare to play Brighton Thursday night, not that he’s gonna need preparing for us tbh 😂

How do you explain 115 charges. You have a fake club, constructed by some sheikhs with money your club has no right of spending. You buy the best management and the best players and then obviously your club doesn't deserve to have those kind of players because lets face it your club has 11 year history which will be buried pretty soon and we all will enjoy nobody likes cheaters
